The Millers Arms

The room was very clean but unfortunately it went down hill from there. The knobs on the closet doors was non existent. The windows didn't fully close so you could hear everything from the beer garden below when trying to get to sleep! There was a scorch mark along bathroom floor where a hot pipe runs across. Hot feet when sitting on the bog! I would have expected more for the price I paid for this room! Next time we come to Canterbury we will be looking some where else. Breakfast was amazing!

Great place to stay if going to the city

The staff were very friendly and helpful at The Millers The quality of the food was good and well presented. The breakfast is freshly cooked and there is a good choice on the menu but only one item can be chosen. There is not an option for cereals, pastries and toast with jam and marmalade. The pub is undergoing a refurbishment but this did not interfere with our stay as it has started on the outside of the building. The location is great, with a car park across the road, and is in easy walking distance to Canterbury centre.

Alan welcomed me and was super helpful. His staff were all very friendly and went the extra mile to help with my business trip!

Bed and pillows very comfortable, shower good, plenty of choice on tea tray, room was clean. Few issues with furniture ie missing handles but didn’t effect our stay. The food was outstanding, staff really nice and helpful. Breakfast was excellent.

THE BED WAS VERY FLUFFY AND COMFORTABLE BATH WAS GOOD WITH SUFFICIENT WATER FLOW CAR PARK WAS NRARBY AND VERY CONVENIENT. INN'S POSITION VERY GOOD FOR CITY SIGHTSEEING AND BREAKFAST MEAL WAS A WELL MADE ENGLISH BREAKFAST. OVERALL STAY WAS VERY GOOD

Great location, friendly, great rooms - great breakfast

The positives were that the room was spotless. It was situated in a beautiful part of Canterbury, very close to the city centre. Breakfast was devine for the both of us. Very friendly staff. The Negatives were. The windows wouldnt close completely and you could hear eveything from the beer garden below when trying to sleep. The wadrobe had no door knobs on both doors which made it very almost impossible to open. Lots of coffee pods and tea bags, but only not enough milks. I had to shower kneeling down as the shower did not go high enough for me to get under (im 6ft 3in). The scorch marks going across the bathroom floor was abit worrying and quite hot to stand on. I expected more for £165 per night!
