"A lovely relaxed oasis close to Cathedral."

8.0

We stayed here for two evenings.Lovely location within 10 minute walk to the Cathedral and ample parking ( currently £10 per day in St Radigunds car park adjacent to premises which can be paid for at The Millers Arms). The premises are full of character. The rooms are small but comfortable. Threadbare carpets on the staircases need attention. Food on offer is limited, but an excellent cooked breakfast is served. Staff were very pleasant and attentive. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and really good beer served.

Disappointing experience. Room was small, in shoddy condition and dirty. Room was very cold and window did not close properly. Bed was very uncomfortable.

"Not for the price!"

4.0

This “hotel” isn’t near as good as its advertised photos. We paid $186 for one night and Breakfast, which was good. This is way too much money for what we got. Extremely small room. Tiny bathroom. Ancient furniture. Terrible pillows. The hosts were very nice but this place needs a lot of improvement. Wouldn’t return.

Great stay in Canterbury. Very good location easy to walk into city centre. Easy parking just across the road. Room on the small size but good value as it included a great breakfast. Room could do with some more lighting otherwise fine.

"Didn’t live up to expectations"

6.0

Lovely surroundings in the bar and restaurant. Bedrooms rather small, bathroom was large with a corner bath and overhead shower. Bed quite comfy but pillows were like concrete. Evening meal was superb, a good choice and well cooked. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. A good selection of beers, drinks and summer cocktails. Breakfast was OKish. My husband had the full English which was as you would expect. I chose the Eggs Benedict - the muffin was inedible and I asked for toast instead. Egg was lightly cooked, ham not carved off the bone, sauce was passable. Menu choices were varied, but only one voice was allowed with B&B deal. (Someone tried to order yoghurt with fruit and a cooked breakfast - that was not allowed ).

We had a lovely stay at Millers Arms. The staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating! Paul, Bella, Jenny, and Ollie all were wonderfully helpful and provided great suggestions and advice for our trip. Breakfast was delicious and substantial. The rooms were modest and small but has nice amenities. They were not very well cleaned though. The location was also great as it was mostly quiet but very walkable to the train station and to the city center. Thank you!
