Great food, close proximity to the Cathedral and the Marlowe and a lovely view from our room over the river. We would come back again.

My wife and I stayed one night at the Millers Arms in August 2024. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were really friendly and nothing felt too much trouble. The room was clean, with a really comfy bed and some nice added extras (toiletries, biscuits, Nespresso machine). We stayed on a Sunday night and popped into the bar for a drink before we headed to the room. Even though it was getting close to closing time, the staff were more than accommodating and didn’t at any point rush us. There was a good selection of options at breakfast. We both had a Full English but there were plenty of other options to choose from! Parking was easy, although we paid for 48 hours when we were there less than 24. Overall, really good value for the money. We dont often take the time to write reviews but we really enjoyed it and would definitely stay again/recommend.

"Not for us. Not worth the money."

2.0

The staff and manager are lovely but that's it! I dont like writing negative reviews , but - Rooms are so very small. Bed is very uncomfortable and small. Bathrooms are dreadful with mould on the ceilings, a shower that barely works, a toiket that doesn't flush well, and only room to fit 1 person at a time. We booked 2 nights but only stayed 1 as we got no sleep at all and wanted our own beds -what a waste of money! Most rooms are bath with shower over and a curtain around which are no good for those with knee problems! Breakfast wasn't great and be warned you can only choose 1 item from the menu otherwise you'll be charged! Pub shut very early ( 9pm ), so you couldn't even relax at the bar with a drink into the evening-we ended up spending time at the Parrot round the corner, which was lovely. Not a relaxing stay at all and very disappointed 😞. The brewery needs to spend some money on the rooms, beds, bathrooms, threadbare carpets, and put air con in to make it up to the standard it should be. Not for us, and we won't be returning.

"Overpriced hotel accommodation"

2.0

At £100 per night (shareholder's price reduced from £150) including breakfast, the accommodation was very expensive. We were first given a double room that was so tiny we could not walk around without moving a chair. There was no air conditioning although a small fan was provided. Water pressure in the shower was very weak. There was a small plastic container of shower gel. The bed felt like it was filled with straw. We asked for a different room the following morning. This was slightly bigger but still unsatisfactory for the price. The tea and coffee tray and biscuits was a nice touch. I would not stay at this hotel again.

"Good breakfast, nice pub, aged rooms"

5 minutes walking to Canterbury cathedral, paid car park across the street. Included breakfast is good, as is the pub. Helpfull staff. Rooms are small, run down and sorely need renovation.

"Excellent bar the breakfast"

6.0

Excellent room, very clean and tidy, access to it was a bit tight especially if you have large suitcases. Only issue was the breakfast that was available which let things down , we were served with orange juice, no cereals on help yourself visible offer, limited milk for tea..very small jug, I was served with the incorrect requested breakfast but didn't complain. Had to ask for toast after the cooked breakfast, two slices for two people arrived.
