Had a spa treatment as part of the stay. I turned up with a very sore neck after sleeping awkwardly a few days before and Ines worked wonders helping relieve the pain and improve my movement. Ines was extremely caring and everything was wonderful.

I had a 30 minute sports back massage with Ines at the Magic Spa during our stay at Palacio Estoi. Honestly, one of the best massages and spa treatments I've had anywhere. Ines' kind welcome, explaining the treatment, and amazing massage were a hugely relaxing break from reality. The magic potion gel she used was warming, cooling, tingling and sensual throughout - I'm not sure what magic they use but it works! Thanks so much for an incredible time, I can't recommend it highly enough.

An excellent experience - good choice of food at for this type of hotel competitive prices. Comfortable and spacious rooms which in the summer would offer good outlooks from balcony. Lovely old world comfort and atmosphere in a picturesque village. What makes this hotel excel is its staff led by Anna - nothing too much trouble guests very much at the centre of the vision. Due to two large groups staying at the time of my stay initially there was no restaurant bookings available. Anna on becoming aware of the situation quickly implemented a solution to the problem and on her evening off duty also had her assistant director to touch base with me. My praise also goes to Avina for her restaurant service and general friendliness. I hope her career progresses. The only thing to be aware of is the remoteness of Estoi for general sightseeing of Faro and the near region. However Ubers were relatively cheap and there is a bus service to Faro (#65) albeit with some gaps in the schedule.
