The house keeping could be better. We always found hair in the corners etc. There were also some ants in the bathroom and the room.

I drove to Estoi today - have been coming to the Algarve for over 20 years - I was on my own - i am 64 years of age - i am not going to bring the tone of the place down despite wearing a top and a pair of shorts. I asked if i could have a coffee - no was the abrupt response from the receptionist - really ?! Her response was that the guests were at breakfast! I then asked if i could use the bathroom - no was the answer - never been so insulted in my life! I asked about the gardens and how to visit them - told to get the car and drive round when all I had to do was to walk through the olive groves and they were there right in front of me - I love Portugal but today was nothing more than someone who clearly is either bored with her job or has had a bad hair day - yes I don't speak Portuguese but if I did i don't think she would have treated me any differently- If i had been Ronaldo perhaps she would have been jumping out of her chair

one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.everything was wonderful. BUT the hotel correctly notified us that we had to check out for real at noon because of an incoming wedding party. Which is fine, But it did not tell us in advance that we would have to off the property at noon. In the past I sould alwasy stay at the health club until my flight. instead I spent 4.5 not very pleasant hours in the main hall of the airport, with my luggage keeping me anchored. The hotel is well within its rights to kick us out at the check out time, but should have warned us.

We invited two guests to join us for coffee (four people) at this hotel with the possibility of lunching there at some stage. The reception notice told us (unbelievably) that we had to pay €20 (€5 a person) to even go in and look at the reception rooms. I have never been asked to pay to enter a hotel to spend there before!! To compound the problem, the receptionist on duty at 12.15pm 23 September was rude. Our guest duly paid €20 and we went through for coffee. There was nothing to see in the ground floor rooms, which were stocked just with faded and ordinary second class furniture. We will not be returning for lunch there.....or anything else.

Clean modern rooms in a separate block to the original small palace. Nice pool area and good breakfast buffet. Not quite the same standard of service as would be typical in a 4* e.g. they did not replenish the coffee pods for the Nespresso machine

Excellent property off the beaten path - great for a close option near the airport. Really cool museum meets modern hotel vibe. Pool is really relaxing and you can enjoy a drink/quick bite. There is a restaurant within the palace that has cute little cats running around. Super unique spot!

Ines was amazing. Best relaxing massage I have had. Highly recommended. I had the relax massage and it was blissfully good

Wonderful hotel, but nothing else close by.
