Rooms were big, facilities were nice

The rooms were dirty, the closets smelled like mold, and many insects were in the room when we came.

Die gesamte Anlage ist wunderschön angelegt. Es ist eine absolute Ruheoase mit wunderbaren herzlichen Mitarbeitern. Wir hatten die Tropical Pool Villa absolute Privatsphäre. Der große Hauptpool ist wunderschön und war meistens sehr leer. Das Frühstücksbuffet bietet alles was ein gutes Frühstück ausmacht. Wir wussten das die Anlage kein Strandbereich hat aber das störte uns nicht. Die Anlage liegt etwas außerhalb aber in 10-15 Minuten erreicht man ein 7 Eleven und einige sehr gute Restaurants (siehe Foto). Hier kann man für 3-4€ super thailändisch Essen. Man kann sogar über Grab Essen oder sogar im 7 Eleven bestellen und es liefern lassen.

Eigentlich stehen im Hotel zwei Fahrräder für die Gäste zur Verfügung. Leider waren diese während unseres Urlaubs defekt aber das ist nichts was unsere Bewertung negativ beeinflussen würde. Eine kleine Anregung an das Management das WC unserer Villa wirkt etwas unsauber, was es nicht wahr, dass liegt eher am Material vielleicht einfach austauschen.

Private swimming pool in the rooms. Very private and nobody can see in. Ideal for Muslim families.

Staff were awol at times. It took a long time to serve us, even though the hotel was only 10% occupied. Reception only has one staff member at all times. The swimming pool inside our room turned green, and after chasing staff several times, they finally gave us another room. It was a bit far as well from main attractions.

We stayed at Tropic Villa and our stay was absolutely perfect from the moment we arrived. The staff were attentive, the villa was stunning and beautifully furnished — we loved the tropical style, the colors, and all the thoughtful details such as the coffee machine, the accessories you can use for photos, and the large bathtub. Whenever I needed anything, it was never a problem — on the contrary, everything was taken care of immediately. Regarding the food, we truly enjoyed both the dinner and the breakfast. Everything was beautifully clean. The resort is located in a quiet area, so it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind.

I happened to stay at Tolani Resort Koh Samui by coincidence due to a last-minute travel decision, and I must say I am genuinely impressed. The resort is unique and private — exactly what I was looking for to escape from the busy side of Samui. The staff are friendly and the service is excellent. The pool villa where I stayed was very comfortable and peaceful. I am truly satisfied and will definitely return again.
