Reset was very nice. Beach is great and the pools are very clean. Room is very clean. Master bed was very comfortable but our daughter did not like the pull out couch. The hotel restaurant was good. Continental breakfast was filling and good.

Beautiful hotel

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Windsong. The property is beautiful and the access to the reef made snorkeling easy and enjoyable. Charging $5 a day for snorkel gear seemed a bit predatory. All the other watersports are free and the staff are helpful when you sign them out. The beach is thin and morning chair and cabana battles made securing a spot on the beach unnecessarily stressful. Breakfast service was often slow, but the option to take it to go from the coffee bar was great on the day we booked excursions and had a timeline. The rooms are big and comfortable. We stayed in a bungalow, which had a full kitchen and everything you could need to cook, laundry with detergent tablets, and plenty of towels, shampoo, shower gel, etc. We did have some trouble with the door lock, but the staff were quick to come help. The pools are gorgeous and the servers on the beach and by the pool were friendly and attentive, especially Omar. Garey and Abiel greeted us warmly when we checked in at the lobby and bar, and the front desk staff were helpful and efficient. The gym was well appointed and spotless. It was helpful to rent a car as the hotel is a short drive to more action in Grace Bay. There is plenty of parking on site. We walked along the beach to the nearby Wymara restaurants for dinner and to Somewhere Cafe next door, which was a wonderful, casual, budget- friendly choice for lunch and dinner with excellent service. Overall, we're happy with the choice to stay at Windsong.

The property is in a nice location. The beach is not over crowded, the reef is very accessible, right in front of the hotel! The beach facilities are great, with lots of cabana and beach umbrella loungers. All the non-motorized gear is available for use st no charge. They have a couple of dining options. The menu is very limited, very few vegetarian options. Breakfast was included with our stay, but thats limited to a continental breakfast, eggs were an add-on! Some of the restaurant staff was rude, overall the dining part of the stay was mediocre. There is a resort shop where they sell necessities, its pretty expensive, so its better to do your own grocery shopping. A car rental is recommended because taxi service ends up being expensive since they charge per person. The resort provides a daily grocery store service, for $10 round trip per person and 45 minutes of shopping time. We got the Oceanfront suite - this was excellent! Its like a mini apartment, it can sleep 4 people and also has the option for a rollaway bed.

Everything was too-notch and clean. Location on the island is perfect - especially if you are willing to rent a car and visit the local beaches. Best reef and snorkeling - with equipment available for a small fee. The appliances were all new and they kept coffee and necessities well stocked. We would recommend this hotel for any visiting Turks and Caicos.
