Ambassador Hotel Thessaloniki

Everithing was really fine. Perhaps the breakfast could be a bit more varied (with hot egg dishes)

We chose this hotel as we were arriving late in the evening and did not want to drive to our destination. We were very pleasantly surprised by the amenities and great help from the staff. So much in fact that we decided to spend the night here once again on our way home.

Just a 1 night stay and was good for that purpose. There was a Greek wedding happening when we arrived at midnight and still going strong. The room was beautiful but typical European very firm beds. The room was a smoking room as we were placed away from wedding noise but wasn't overwhelming smell so we took it.

We wanted to stay near the airport before our departure in the morning. This was a great hotel, comfortable and easy access to the airport. However, there is little near by so you must eat at the hotel or take a taxi.

Ok, so the room decor is a little tired and the bed a little uncomfortable, but overall if you wsnt somewhere to sleep over before or after a long flight from the airport, this is an excellent value for money option.

Wifi was most important to me as I was on business. This was the best hotel I've found all Summer in Greece for that. Very impressed. Hotel is very dated inside and breakfast wasn't great. There was nothing nearby but perfect for me needing to be close to the airport. Pool area was great and the staff were all lovely. Would stay here again.

Very nice hotel with friendly stuff. You will need a car to go around to towns (but this is already known before booking). A visit to the pool is a must.

In general I'm satisfied with the hotel and the room and the personell. The only negative was that the room was really warm when we enter on it and the A/C wasn't powerful enough to lower the temperature quickly

This hotel is not to far to be an airport stopover, but has enough character to be a pleasant place for a holiday stay, too. It has a good freestyle pool ( unfortunately dominated by a group of non hotel residents) and had airy public rooms. We had dinner there which we enjoyed and breakfast which was the standard buffet. Unfortunately it wasn't really replenished enough so guests had do do without certain choices. The staff were most helpful and even gave us a room upgrade when we arrived. We were also told that short term car parking could be arranged for people flying out for a week or so. A taxi would be required for getting to and from the airport. The room was adequate, (nice but nothing out of the ordinary) the only problem being that the a/c took hours to cool the room. The bathroom was very good. We would be happy to use this hotel again.

Perfect place to stay if you have an earlt morning flight! Close to airport and really decent price for a hotel with a pool!
