Ambassador Hotel Thessaloniki

I got this room for one night because it's close to the airport and I was flying out early the next morning. This was one of my favorite hotels I stayed at during my trip. I wish I had more time to spend there. The room and bathroom were excellent and spacious. The pool was awesome. It was quiet and the taxi to the airport was 8 euros. I was very pleased.

Nice staff, adequate rooms and the bonus of a pleasant pool and bar area where you can also have meals. Obviously there is some aircraft noise but with the French windows closed this is not noticeable at night. If you are noise-sensitive be aware that the front rooms also get a lot of traffic noise from the nearby main road. Again, you can avoid this by closing the French doors but the rear rooms must be quieter.

Need to be near shops. Had to catch bus to get into the town.

Wonderful, family run hotel with excellent facilities: amazing pool, fast, all over, wifi, great food, very hospitable owners and staff. Hygiene impeccable, rooms spacious, beds comfortable. Safe, children and pet friendly. We truly enjoyed our stay

We found this place about 14 years ago and we make it our first stop in Greece. It's close to the airport and we just love to relax there before going south to our rental. the staff are helpful and the breakfast is good.

My flight from Beirut came in well after midnight. Glad to find a hotel so close to the airport.

It is not really close to the downtown, but the place is wonderful, on a small hill with lovely view on a typical Greek landscape... A lot of space, sky and a distant view of the sea and the city, which look fantastic at night as well. Pleasant atmosphere of serenity... Nicely organised inner garden with a pool... Good breakfast. I will stay there again if I happen to be in the area

My husband and I were looking for a peaceful, restful holiday and this is exactly what this lovely family-run hotel with breath-taking views had to offer. It was very good value for money, the management and staff were really friendly, helpful and obliging at all times. They had a good breakfast variety and their lunch/dinner food portions were very generous with a free bottled water before and dessert after every meal. The management were very helpful in coordinating 4 tours with a local tour company which were very fascinating and enjoyable. As the hotel is located out of town car hire is recommended to get out and about but there is a regular, cheap-fare bus service to/from Thessaloniki Town Centre. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Thessaloniki.
