OUTRIGGER Koh Samui Beach Resort

A beautifully maintained luxury hotel with the beach club across the road in front of a manned crossing. A relaxing, luxurious stay. Staff were incredible! We had a interconnecting pool room which was amazing. Quality linen, styled beautifully. Highly recommend this property fantastic value for money!

We had an amazing stay at outrigger koh sumi.. staff so so friendly and very attentive could not ask for more.. room very very clean comfortable little basic.. out door pool area edge water was very nice.. close to nice local restaurants and night life.. and one massive shout out to Jeremy and team for looking after us so well.. great tips from him and ice were to go and what too do

I stayed at Outriggger resort in December 2025. I found the location decent, it's walking distant to Lanai night market, 7-11s, laundromat, and several other small shops and restaurants. The beach is beautiful though a bit small. The resort itself is split into two parts across the main road which is inconvenient. We used the half board package as we wanted to go to other places in the day and also we aren't big drinkers. We were disappointed in this as we still had to pay for basic drinks like water and juice for dinner which are expensive. Expect to pay over 300+ THB for a drink at the resort's only restaurant. You order off the menu and while they do have a good selection of Western, Thai, and Asian food, they also frequently did not have everything available on the menu. We stayed in a family suite in the garden level which was very clean though we had neighbors that were very loud. We did a island tour excursion which included lunch at the top of Koh Sammui which was excellent though a bit pricy for a family. The kids club staff were amazing and my children loved it, though I did feel like I was constantly paying for extra activities and arts and crafts for them. All in all, I feel that while I enjoyed my stay and its a good place, I feel I could get a better value for my money at a different resort on the island.

I have spent few days at the Outrigger resort at Koh Samui and it was a very pleasant experience. The hotel is located on the south shores, close to Lamai beach. The resort is a walking distance to various shops, restaurants and bars and close to the Lamai Night Market. The hotel is essentially split into two parts, there is a busy road that runs through. On the beach side, there are several pools, restaurant and access to the beach. On the opposite side you will find the front desk, another pool, breakfast restaurant and all the rooms. I have loved the pool near the beach, but it gets very loud and busy during the day. The pool located near my room was much more quiet and private. The breakfast buffet was the best I have encountered in Thailand!

The resort is very well located with very good pool area. It is very very well maintained with warm and helping staff. I enjoyed my stay here.

Just about to check out after 5 wonderful nights at Outrigger. Nicely located just on the outskirts on Lamai (with great transport routes to the main tourist area of Lamai, via walk, taxi or public transport) the hotel and pool area are really good. Yes the pool and bar area are across a road but you have 2 great security personnel who flag you across the road when safe to cross and adds to the quirkiness of this hotel. All the staff are amazing, friendly and so helpful. The rooms are lovely with massive beds and have everything you need; housekeeping change or make good the rooms every day. Breakfast is good, with loads of choice and tastes amazing. The pool area is well set up with a kids area, a larger deeper pool, sun beds overlooking the beach and sea and even a bean bag section; 4 private areas for you to set up camp during the day. The spa treatments are also very good; only issue is that these take place near the kids pool so you don’t get the peace and tranquility you’d expect for a hotel spa facility. Couldn’t fault the place; a very nice stay.

Location paradise. Atmosphere wonderful. Room spacious and clean. We had side view sea view with balcony. Certainly value for money.

The hotel is gracious, clean and fresh. The bedroom was fab - aircon, fridge, fabulous shower. It has a great breakfast buffet, and fantastic pool facilities both in the main hotel and its main Restaurent - Edgewater next to the beach. The staff were absolutely delightful and the service was spot on. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Great family resort. Staff fantastic and all greeted us by name. Pool was great and in an excellent location right on the beach front. Kids club came in handy, and the kids loved laser tag. Great value for money.
