Great friendly staff in a location we like. Room was super-clean and comfortable.

More expensive than usual for a small room, and poorly shower facilities. No sparkling water, limited extras.

Het personeel is super vriendelijk en helpt je bij alles wat kan. Het ontbijt is prima verzorgt, van keuze van een warm ontbijt, tot een buffetje waar je uit kunt kiezen voor yoghurt, fruit en verschillende broodjes. De locatie van het hotel is echt super. Met een goed uur zat je midden in The Cotswolds, en voor een bezoek aan Highclere Castle wat 20 minuten verderop ligt, is dit een goede locatie.

Bij aankomst bleek de kamers niet goed schoon. Bij een kamer was het toilet helemaal niet gedaan, bij de andere kamer lag er haren in het bed en van alle kamers was het behoorlijk stoffig. Bij melden van het vieze toilet en haren in bed werd dit direct opgepakt, dat was heel fijn, maar dit hoort niet bij een 4-sterren hotel. Dagelijks werd je bed opgemaakt, maar in de 5 dagen dat wij er waren werden de handdoeken niet verschoond. In de rest van het hotel, de lobby etc. liet de schoonmaak het te wensen over. Stoelen zaten vol met vlekken en vaak lagen er nog kruimels dagen op stoelen. Echt heel jammer voor de uitstraling van het hotel, want het is echt een heel leuk hotelletje met Engelse uitstraling. Met wat meer aandacht hier aan te besteden, zou het er zo veel beter uitzien,
