Pleasant and attentive staff. Good choice of food at breakfast and dinner freshly cooked to order. Cleanliness of bed linen and bathroom towels

Rotting timber on bedroom window (room 108) potentially dangerous. Noise from compressor operating all night disruptive. Secondary glazing would help.

Lovely big room and beautiful bathroom for a standard double, bed was huge and very comfy, reception staff very welcoming, brilliant location.

Room was very hot even without the radiator on but found a small fan in the wardrobe so easily fixed!

Great location, very clean and a nice room.

Very little. There’s no parking, but there a public car park a few minutes walk away that only cost me £4.30 for 24 hours.

"A great hotel for short stays - but ask for room which is away from the bar area."

Dinner was very good, the room was comfortable and well-equipped, the hotel is in a central location with easy access to the railway station.

Bedrooms in the courtyard annex are located next to the terrace bar/seating area and very noisy until closing time.
