Nice hotel close to the Chiang Mai night market, 15 minute walk, close to Thai massage, restaurants, and shopping. Have been staying here every time I come to Chiang Mai for the past 8 years

"The best hotel in chiang mai"

I have stayed here for the last eight years. Both at the empress and the empress premier. Its like my home away from home. The staff are phenomenal . The rooms are spotless , the pool and gym are superior. I can only rave about this place. You walk in and everyone welcomes you with those thai smiles. I have never come across a grouchy person in all these years. We stayed for one month and plan on returning here for 2 months next year. There-are too many people to mention here as everyone is so kind and thoughtful( i do adore thai people) but to name a few. Mon from the dining room at the premier, Boom at the front desk at the premier and paul , front desk at the Empress. But actually, everyone is wonderful!!!!

The staff was very friendly, attentive, and helpful. Nice, big room, with wood floors. Laundry was very reasonable. The breakfast was, at best, mediocre.

Great property all around. Ended up getting the executive suite. It is sweet! Thee we t gave us a huge gift basket on arrival, fresh fruit and fresh cut flowers in the morning. 5 stars.

"Empress Hotel Chiang Mai."

Large comfortable hotel, on the edge of Chiang Mai old town, we were upgraded and presented with a welcome bundle of snacks and drinks on arrival. Staff friendly and helpful, Breakfast buffet style but some items were cold. Overall though very good place to stay to enjoy Chiang Mai.
