We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at The old Phuket resort. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is excellent a great choice of food. Right on the beach only a few minutes walk away. Given it was low season they also gave us an upgrade to a jacuzzi suite which was such a lovely surprise. Thank you so much for our beautiful stay here we will be back!

Now I know why its called the "OLD" Phuket. I could have been happy there but reception staff and especially the Management team are so unprofessional that I would never go back. I know they advertise themselves as the land of smiles but they are not genuine smiles, Phuket has got to realise that they have got to look after customers as the place has gone way down hill in the last few years and customers are now so unhappy that they now go to Vietnam, Cambodia as the service is so much better - A note, if you are going to Phuket, go to Kamala as the service is much better.
Hotel is quaint and old colonial. Great location from beach and restaurants. My room was lovely. Very large including the bath. We did have a frustrating issue with check in due to misunderstanding and language barrier. Our bellman was great and overall the staff was, as usual, wonderful. Pool area could use a facelift.
We stayed 3 nights and it was fabulous ! The room was so clean, the bathroom was perfect and there is a king size bed in the room. I really recommend this hotel, it's near the sea, there are several restaurants in less than 5 min walk and the hotel staff is helpful. They booked for me the airport arrival and departure pickup and we booked a boat excursion ( koh phi phi ) with them. The only this that I regret is the breakfast ( I didn't really like it ) Thanks a lot !
We stayrd in private jacuzzi suite. The jacuzzi is in the front walked courtyard and is not heated. It quickly warms naturally. The first time you use it you might need to empty and refill to flush out dust but it stays clean thereafter. Super comfortable bed. Many power sockets including some universal ones. Outdoor shower increases the tropical resort feeling. Don't worry no one can see you. Very good breakfast including bacon cooked properly and egg station. Caters for Chinese, French, German, US and UK breakfast styles. 100m to the beach past a group of restraints, cafes,convenience stores, massage and tailor shops. You never need to leave the resort for a great holiday. Also minutes to local stores. Excellent friendly staff who speak enough English.
We really enjoyed our stay (28 days). We were in a pool access room which was great. All the staff were very attentive to our needs and ensured our stay was memorable. Resort was within walking distance of shops and restaurants.
close to beach, cool room outdoor shower but very nice. Breakfast was OK location is geeat. Karon Beach much nicer than Putong.
Loved the lay out of the pools and our family room was awesome roomy and pleasant bed linnen excellent the towels were awful though staff friendly, but a liitle vague mix up with our friends booking was very bad,and could have spoiled our holiday
Good location and good room was clean. Close to town, beach and shopping.
