1. Mosquitos - I was quite heavily bited, I know it is normal to have mosquitos in warm and humid climate but perhaps their population should be chemically limited 2. Booking was not easy - initially I wrote directly to the hotel, asking for options of stay within 2 week time period (for any amount of days within this slot). I got the information that there is no availability in that time frame (nor even a single day). Something different was visible on Booking.com, via which I finally made a booking for the exactly this timeframe (4 nights). But because it was done via Booking, I couldn’t ask for a particular room I had in mind.

Absolutely lovely place for relaxing. The property itself is amazing, and the restaurant is good. The hotel has it’s own beautiful beach. However, it’s important to know that the road from the central part of the island to the hotel is in poor condition, which makes going in and out quite tricky. By car or boat it takes about 20–30 minutes, and you need to pay for every transfer to and from the hotel, as there are no complimentary shuttle services. If you plan to spend most of your time at the hotel, this is the perfect place. However, if you want to explore the island more, it might not be the best choice due to the difficult access.

Un établissement qui porte bien son nom : le paradis ! Nous étions en villa vue mer avec piscine privée, un petit havre de paix ; le décor est exceptionnel et l'ensemble du personnel très sympathique.

Il pourrait y avoir plus souvent des propositions de buffet le soir (nous en avons eu deux pour cinq soirs), la carte étant un peu courte pour deux repas par jour pendant 5 jours...

La qualité de la literie, la plage presque privatisée, le côté exclusif, manger les pieds dans le sable.

Hôtel très isolé , loin de tout , donc on est vite bloqué dans l’établissement , activités et excursions proposées très très chères Repas juste correctes mais les prix sont excessifs Presque 10 euros pour un verre de vin rouge australien. Facile 50% -60%minimum plus chère que Phuket pour toute la nourriture. La plage est jolie mais l’eau est très trouble on y voit pas à 30cm, l’eau n’est absolument pas cristalline. Pas de salle de fitness !! Ils ont fait à la place un parcours de santé en pleine jungle aucun intérêt car trop chaud et humide , on y est vite complètement épuisé même pour un sportif venant d’Europe. Mais pourquoi donc défigurer une colline de jungle pour y faire un tel parcours ,quelle idée écologique .

Enchanting nature, friendly and helpful staff, the food is delicious. I will definitely be back with my family.

10th of February we booked an activity to go snorkeling. The day started with a warm welcome from Anis and his colleague who where waiting by their speedboat. During the boat trip it was a bit windy but we still had a great time. Once we arrived at the destination we got a little explanation were we could snorkel and explore. Some basic things to look out for and most importantly to have fun. At noon we took a break from exploring and had lunch. The lunch was very delicious and well prepared with a lovely view to experience the meal. Overall it was an amazing experience. My family and I made some unforgettable memories thanks to the wonderful guidance of Anis and his colleague. Thank you very much for this fascinating day.

We spent a week at Paradise Koh Yao at the end of January 2026. Initially, we were assigned bungalow 211, very close to the pool, but with so many children playing there, it was difficult to rest. Therefore, we asked to change and were moved to bungalow 221, which was much better. Both rooms were in excellent condition, spacious, and with all the amenities. The hornbill,what a bird, they are incredible,surely the stars of the show. The hotel food is very good, and the restaurant atmosphere is very pleasant, especially on the sand at night. However, the service is sometimes a bit slow, seemingly due to the kitchen.One day we ordered a room service and food came in layer lunch box,something unacceptable in a 4 star property . They frequently organize good barbecues with pleasant live music. The beach is good at high tide; otherwise, swimming is impossible. Breakfast is just ok but not spectacular; perhaps it's too strict with nothing else available besides the buffet, such as a smoothie. I made a mistake in my reservation by adding an extra night, but the management very kindly refunded me in the form of a resort credit. The noisy construction of more bungalows during peak holiday season is deeply reprehensible, regardless of the comfort of guests. Loud hammering and drilling could be heard in our room, sometimes even after 7 pm. I don't want to imagine what it was like in the rooms on the hill next to the construction site.We know from extensive experience visiting this area that hotels take advantage of the low season to carry out this construction. For example, at the resort on Koh Kradan, where I'm writing this review and which we've visited for the last three years, new rooms are only built when occupancy is low, never when they're full. It's truly disrespectful.
