Jomtien Palm Beach Hotel And Resort

I was very unimpressed with this hotel. I had just come from a 5-star hotel in Bangkok. We booked this 4-star hotel. Unfortunately, the experience was more like a 2-star experience. This property is incredibly dated. It's way past its heyday. While the lobby is well-maintained, it's ugly. There is always a kind doorman, but the reception staff was consistently apathetic, nor did they smile. The elevators to the floors were without a/c and were the hottest part of the building. The hotel lies on the hotels.com website. Under other information, it says "Smoke-free property". Then they say, "723 smoke-free guestrooms." They have a total of 723 rooms. Look at the pictures I attached. My friend's initial room was so overwhelmed with a smoke smell that he requested to change rooms. His new room didn't smell like smoke, but also had ash trays. My third friend also had ash trays. Even the pictures chosen on the website show ash trays in the room! Very deceiving! The room itself was dated and ugly. Please note: the pictures you see at the beginning are *suites*. Click through to find pics of YOUR room. The beds were hard and cheap. It felt like a university dorm room. The wifi wasn't working on day 2 and 3. It took 3 complaints to get it fixed. The wifi login process is complicated and buggy. The breakfast was basic. To its credit, it had lots of options, but they felt cheap. When hotels.com asked for a partial refund, the hotel refused. So disappointing.

WiFi average at best. Asked to change room. Told 3 times come back later person who can do that not working. Had to use WiFi in main lobby.

I like the location of the property the breakfast is a great way to start mornings.What I didn’t like was my stay too short

Very nice place had a deluxe room with beautiful view, very nice international buffet breakfast, the room service food was good as well, the staff was very helpful and took care of thing immediately. My only complaint is the internet there was on and off, not strong. Location was great you could walk to many restaurants, massage places and shops. The beach right across the way. There’s no travel/tourist desk but they could arrange a taxi for you for any location you wanted to visit.

A good low to medium cost hotel in the heart of things at Jomtien

It is a great low cost hotel, good breakfast and great location. Tinnies an Australian pie shop around the corner made me feel at home

A part from the location in Jomtien, the room and bed didn’t comfy me at all. I could hear noise from a room next door and even a room upper floor bang something disturbing my bedtime. Good thing about here is a room size but compared to the worthiness. No clear signage from the car park to the lobby nor between two buildings in front and back I wont stay here agin and wont recommend this hotel.

Room is clean and quite big. Staffs are nice and friendly.
