The Hotel Restaurant was excellent. Especially the evening meal. The room wifi is only average.

An exceptional close to town hotel that takes pride in delivering great food, service and facilities.

I loved the spacious apartment and the private balconies, the aircon and the TV worked well. The chef at casa Mia was good. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. There was no fresh milk in the fridge for a cup of tea but when I asked for some it was brought to me by a young man who went to some trouble to get it.

I had a 1-bedroom apartment to myself. There were to be 2 of us but my friend pulled out at the last minute. The hotel had set up a second bed for him in the spacious living area at no extra charge. The apartment was spacious and clean, with a well-stocked kitchenette. There was no fresh milk in the fridge and it wasn’t strictly available from room service, but one of the young staff went out of his way to bring me some in a big cup. It was a long hot climb up the stairs to the second floor, and no lift. I needed the exercise, but it wouldn’t suit the elderly or frail. And of course a man carried my suitcase up and back. The wifi was pretty good, and there was a lovely big TV screen that was uncomplicated to work, if like me you were happy with ABC and SBS. I was there for the weekly Sunday night barbecue and cultural show, which was terrific. You could tell it was authentic local people taking part in the singing and dancing including women and children, demonstrating a culture that is still alive to an important extent. The main host man was happy to demonstrate how traditional instruments had been adapted to use modern materials like glass in some cases. There was no fakery.

The staff are excellent. The breakfast is delicious.

Room was comfortable. The pool area was a nice place for our group to gather. The restaurant served nice food at a reasonable price and the chef and staff were very good.

The verandahs and surrounds needed work. The breakfast could have had a better. Small variety of fruit was the same every day.
