Hyatt House Richmond - Short Pump

Other than the carpet..it was very clean.

The hotel need fixing up. It was at 25th anniversary. The breakfast it looked like everything was frozen and it was heated up. The only thing good was the waffles. The tallest dudes was so short. I had back surgery and I hit the stoop down lower than I suppose to that made my back hurt a lot. Doing I stay there so that's why we left it posts to Ben for to be for 3 days. We're only stayed 2, so that's why I left i also noticed a change in the hotel is not the same people

We called ahead to ask if they had cribs for our two daughters. They said they did, and had them in the room ready for us. Problem was, they weren’t cribs. They were travel pack n plays, which if you have kids you know are two VERY different things. We truly would have booked somewhere else that had cribs available if we knew. In addition, there were some ants in the room and some small stains on the sheets. Cleanliness wasn’t terrible but it didn’t feel as clean as it should. The staff was really nice and attentive, and the breakfast was solid. It’s really convenient to the short pump mall. Definitely wouldn’t recommend it, though. We expected a bit more from a Hyatt.

Much better than expected! Pleasantly surprised. Will stay again. Highly recommend this location for friendliness of staff, ( especially Housekeeping), location, room cleanliness, and size!

Great clean room , would stay again

We had a great stay at this hotel. Everything was very clean, the breakfast was excellent with plenty of variety, and the staff was consistently friendly and welcoming. The location was also very convenient, which made getting around easy. The only downside to note is that the property does show some wear and tear — things like holes in the hallway carpet and very worn chairs could use some updating. That said, it didn’t take away from our overall experience, and we would still recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, service, and value.

Good hotel in a nice, busy location. Overall stay was nice. Room suites seemd a little old/outdated. Liked having connected rooms, however the 2-double queen room seemed more spacious than the bedroom within the 1-bedroom king suite. Had a slight issue with the suite's sink leaking water onto the carpet in front of the bathroom. Luckily we had a connected room, so it wasn't a big deal, and it was just for one night. We made them aware of the issue, so hopefully they fixed it. Didn't try the complimentary breakfast.

The hotel looked great and the location was perfect. The only problem I had was that the shower didn’t have enough water pressure and the bathroom floor tiles were loose due to water damage.
