I have been staying in this hotel for many years and consider it my Chinese home whilst I'm in Foshan. This time my experience was not so good I do hope they listen to what I am saying as no one seemed to be when I was there last week. the rooms are lovely, large, and clean, I stay on the executive floors on 17/18/19 you get use of the club lounge. Unfortunately, that's now only open from 17.30 to 20.30 and is as boring as hell. Very few staff speak English except reception and management serving staff in the restaurants speak only Chinese except for the Managers at breakfast. I ordered soup to start my evening meal and a Cheeseburger with chips for the main course. The cheeseburger turned up before the soup so when the soup did turn up, some 15 minutes later I rejected it. Something is going wrong all of a sudden and this hotel is no longer 5-star and International. Sorry, but the management said 99.9% of guests were Chinese so no need to speak English.

Good location. Everything is within walking distance. Little bit out dated.

Me and my girlfriend at the time stayed here for one night in June 2023. The hotel was 5-star quality, with super friendly staff and excellent interior décor. The bar was very nice, though I only tried beer when it came to beverages. Our room was large and super clean, with a massive TV and a fantastic view looking out over Foshan. The bathroom featured a powerful shower and a decent sized bathtub, which was very welcoming after a long day of walking around the city.

Excellent choice for the Western traveler; very popular with businessmen and families. The buffet almost Las Vegas level food choices (something for everyone).

This is my fourth stay in Foshan Crowne Plaza in 2024. The hotel offers an excellent buffet for breakfast (generally free or a nominal fee for hotel guests). Buffet also offers a good lunch and dinner for half price for hotel guests if you are not inclined to try local cuisine. Within 400 meters of hotel, there are 4 shopping malls, a main subway stop (Zumaio), two movie theaters, many dining options. Staff excellent and always an English speaker available. Although a non-smoking hotel, 3 floors of rooms available for smokers. Good gym, ping pong and pool table available. Outdoor pool on 5th floor BUT swim caps must be worn over hair at all times. Truly an excellent choice for the Western traveler.

Returned after 15years and will be back for another visit before the end of the year. Front desk staff very helpfull and friendly, especially Maggie. Would not recommend breakfast and did not have time to enjoy dinner.
