I will definitely recommend to my friends to stay at this hotel. He is a pleasure to spend time here everyone is friendly kind and attentive and willing to help you immediately the rooms are exceptional clean and very nice

Everyone isn the hotel are so friendly and the hotels is the best I have visited is clean

Booked one of the Executive suites for the night. Great view of the city and the suite was very well appointed and had all the amenities. Private dining room for suites was also a nice extra and had a good selection for breakfast. Good service all round. Live music in downstairs bar area.

room was Dirty. Cleaning staff same as Shampoo and body was used.

It’s an older hotel but rooms are clean and spacious . Good European food options for breakfast . Great location to walk to shopping area and Xintiandi outdoor restaurant area

From the moment you step into the foyer, you get the feeling of size, which seems to be a theme of the hotel. The lobby is huge, impressive and welcoming, the guest rooms are large, comfortable and spacious, and even the buffet (breakfast, lunch or dinner) is sizable. Perhaps not the most modern or chic, but very comfortable and good service. A stay here is alway good value for money, with more than sufficient amenities and a good enough level of service that will have you coming back again and again

Because we arrived much later than we'd hoped (around midnight) we didn't get the chance to see much. But the hotel was very good for us. It isn't a new hotel- the colours suggest 1980's- but it would have been a stunner at its time. Now, it's retro in a very pleasant way. Our room was comfortable, and quiet. The breakfast was a good variety. The staff were pleasant. It was a shame we only had 8 hours here- and most of them sleeping!- as I think it would be a good place for a longer stay.

Definitely not a 5 ot 4.5 star. Old chinese traditional style
