Arina Beach Resort

We have just returned from 10 days away here, and we can honestly say this is one of the nicer hotels that we have been to. Room As a family of 5, we were given the 2 bedroomed family room. We had a gorgeous view of the sea and outside our door was the kids pools and slides, so it was really handy if we needed to nip back in the day our room was only 30 seconds away from where we were sat. Room was spotless and the drinks were replenished daily (in other hotels I’ve found that this is inconsistent but we were given 3 bigs bottles of water a day which was great). Cleaners did a lovely job each day too. Pools We spent all of our time at the slides. The slides are open from 10-6 which was good as they weren’t over crowded as I’ve found elsewhere when they open for 2 hours. They are quite strict with the big slides, my daughter wasn’t allowed on with her dad and armbands (she’s 4 and loves big slides she’s been on much bigger elsewhere). I think the minimum height was 120cm, she did like the smaller slides but felt she was missing out when her older siblings were allowed on the bigger slides. This has never been a problem in Turkey but I suppose it’s a good thing that they take health and safety seriously. The sunbeds have mattresses on also that were a lot more comfortable than standard sunbeds. We also didn’t struggle to get these in a morning and visited during May half term. The main pool did look a lot busier but we didn’t go up there. We did spend an afternoon at the heart pool, we didn’t realise that this was actually salt water, and freezing cold so we didn’t go back to that one. Food The buffet was very good with a big range of food. We didn’t get bored and feel the need to eat out really. We usually went to DIA for lunch as it was a lot smaller and had everything the kids wanted, and the main buffet at night. The 3 onsite restaurants were also a lot better than I expected. Unlimited ice cream all day which the kids took full advantage of! Drinks This is where I was disappointed, the cocktails looked amazing however, I am currently pregnant and hoped that they could make the cocktails the same without the alcohol. This wasn’t an option though for example, a pina colada without the alcohol was just pineapple juice as they used coconut liquor instead of coconut cream. We did venture into a nearby town one night who happily did me a pina colada alcohol free. The mocktails on offer were aimed more at children, things like grenadine and lemonade, apple juice and lemonade, Fanta and grenadine just very simple drinks. My partner however did really enjoy the cocktails and this was only a problem for me because it’s what I enjoy the most on holiday. I ended up drinking alcohol free beer most of the time which I didn’t really enjoy much. Also on the room service section of the app, they have a list of mocktails that you can purchase for extra, but this was outdated and the hotel weren’t even able to do this. The hotel is beautiful with amazing views, the sea is stunning and the beaches very close. It is also very accessible - we couldn’t see much need to get in lifts as we considered coming back next year when we will have a pram. The spa and indoor pool was also lovely. We would love to return next year ⭐ ☀️

Wonderful holiday at Arina. Just 15 mins from the airport is excellent though you may realise one of the interests is “plane spotting”. Food is delicious and well served. Staff are very friendly. We stayed in private pool which couldn’t be beaten. Room was good size for us, 2 adults and 2 teenagers, clean and well maintained. There is a mini water park within the resort which occupied my kids, and because of this, we cancelled one of our tours to the town.

This resort has fantastic location, is very clean, staff are friendly and helpful and smiling non stop which makes us guests feeling relaxed and happy on holidays. Much better than staff in Spain. Manager George is the kindest and most caring. Entertainment is also great and children have plenty to do. Spa staff and friendly and skilled and Peanna is fantastic massage therapist. Rooms are spacious and cleaned daily, bathroom is a bit small . Food selection is fabulous and something for everyone, juices are a bit watered down so not so tasty. But overall exceptional family resort and we will be coming back. As I am a travel agent I will be 100% recommending to my clients. Thank you so much Arina team🙏🏻🫶

Konum olarak şahane , insanları güler yüzlü özellikle ana yemek yerinin oradaki barda çalışan 2 kardeş çok iyiler . Kesinlikle içkilerinizi oradan alın. Spa bölümündeki Emma çok nazik ve tatlı . Peeling işlemim çok güzel geçti . Yemekler çok bize hitap etmedi ama çeşitlilik bol ve meyve sebzesi tazeydi . Sürekli bir şey bulabiliyorsunuz ve aç kalmıyorsunuz . Odalar temiz , özellikle bizim odamız çok güzeldi teşekkür ediyorum .

Excellent experience for the whole family. Good quality food and accommodation clean and spotless. Very friendly staff, nothing to complain about. We would certainly come back again! Visited the Aegeo Spas and Emma was fantastic!

Just what we wanted for a stress free relaxing holiday. Everything was very clean. Room was modern and spacious. Food was really good. We ate at all of the themed restaurants as well as the main restaurant and the choice and quality was excellent. The water slides were a huge hit with our 8 year old and kept him entertained all week. The beach was also lovely. We never struggled to find a sun lounger where and when we wanted. It isn’t the most peaceful location as it is near the flight path to Heraklion. On the other side there is the coast road as well. This didn’t bother us as we were fully aware of this when we booked. We never really noticed any road noise and found watching the planes interesting. Also the location meant a very short transfer time which suited us. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Only very slight negative was that on an evening there were a fair number of people smoking in the communal outside areas which meant we sometimes had to move seating to avoid the smoke!

An excellent experience all round. All staff were very good and attentive. The variance in food selection and facilities were all excellent The family would certainly return.

Close to airport

A lot of pork.. pork is cooked with chiken and meat, couldnt eat non of them. Pool bars lack basic drinks, ice coffe, ice vanile, ice chocolate After dinner activities are so poor. Prebooked resturants are of very low values except the meat one
