Food extremely tasty and daily varied, hat down. All-inclusive drink available everywhere, choice surprisingly wide, cocktails as it should be and not as in some places when you get cheap imitations (here is a "real deal"). Staff friendly and helpful throughout the hotel (reception, restaurants, bars, animators...). Pools everywhere, slides, water animations,... Children can have fun in the "Kids room", ours were enthusiastic about creative animation.

Arrived at the end of April to find a warm greeting by reception on arrival. The porter Stavros took us to our room and he was very freindly and helpful in supplying information about the hotel. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable. The whole hotel was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The main restuarant was exceptional. This is the only hotel where I have seen senior chefs out front checking the displays of food every night. Similarly this is the only hotel where i have seen senior management walking through all areas of the hotel morning, noon and night checking that everything was up to standard. Bar staff were efficient and friendly. Add in that the travel time from the airport is only 20 minutes and this is a perfect holiday resort for all. Never seen so many sun beds. Congratulations to everyone at the hotel . Will return.

Came along to Arina Beach for a holiday with my family and what a brilliant experience. The care and service provided by staff has been brilliant and they couldn't be anymore accommodating. The food has far exceeded my expectations and each meal has been better than the last. The variety at the buffet has been great! And I'm never short on options. I decided to treat myself to a massage at the spa and it was phenomenal! Katerina was so lovely and treated me to a very relaxing massage - I highly recommend getting a treatment! Overall has been a fantastic holiday and I'd be more than happy to return to this hotel.

We love this hotel and had a super stay - so many positives. One reason we chose Arina Beach Resort is that it's a short transfer from Heraklion airport. As other reviewers have noted, that does mean planes flying over as they come in to land but we got used to it and it really wasn't an issue for us. Another bonus of the location is the frequent bus that runs past the front of the hotel going into Heraklion. You can buy a ticket from the machine at the bus stop (we paid 2.30 Euros each for a single) or pay on the bus for about 50 cents more. It's worth going in to see Knossos Palace, the markets and the museums. We had one of the Annex rooms which is a block just across the road from the rest of the site. The annex has its own pool and bar if you don't want to go to the other facilities. Our room, like the rest of the site, was spotless, well equipped and well maintained. A busy main road runs close the Annex but we were only vaguely aware of traffic as a background noise. We had good weather and spent several days on the beach. It's a lovely sandy beach and the sea is quite shallow so it's ideal really. There are handy foot showers at regular intervals so you can clean off the sand before going to one of the bars/cafes. There are loads of sunbeds on the beach and around all the pools so there was never any issue finding somewhere to sit. We avoided the main square pool which seemed to be the busiest but as there are several pools and bars plus the beach, nowhere ever seemed too busy. You get blue towels in your room for beach/pool use and you can get clean ones easily when you need. We loved the food and drink. The main restaurant has such a wide range and plenty of variety - cold/hot, sweet/savoury, veg/fish/meat/breads. As soon as you sit down a member of staff serves you coffee/tea (breakfast) or water/wine/beer (lunch and dinner). They'll top you up if you ask or just leave the bottle of wine on the table. The coffee machines and taps for soft drinks/beer are also there for you to serve yourself. In the daytime we liked the Dia restaurant/bar next to the beach, which was great for a light lunch and saved us walking to the main restaurant. There are several bars open from about 10.30am. They do the usual alcoholic and soft drinks but also coffee/tea if you prefer. I think this is the biggest range of all-inclusive drinks I've come across, with at least a dozen cocktails listed. Other facilities we used are the indoor pool and gym. Again, both spotlessly clean and well maintained. We were impressed with the staff who all seem to work hard and are so polite and helpful. There was a kind female staff member at the Dia restaurant who helped my wife when she tripped and bumped her nose one day (my wife's mistake no criticism of the hotel). The Animation team are great fun and there's plenty of opportunity to join in. We enjoyed a pop-quiz, Sjoelen, and aqua-gym. We also enjoyed the entertainment each night. This ranged from a magician, through acrobats, to musical acts. The Greek night was a highlight with almost everyone up dancing.

Hrana izjemno okusna in vsakodnevno pestra, kapo dol. All-inclusive pijača na voljo povsod, izbira presenetljivo široka, koktajli kot se spodobi in ne kot ponekod, ko dobiš poceni imitacije (tu je "real deal"). Osebje prijazno in uslužno po celem hotelu (recepcija, restavracije, bari, animatorji...). Bazeni povsod, tobogani, vodne animacije,... Otroci se lahko zabavajo v "Kids room", naši so bili navdušeni nad ustvarjalno animacijo. Mi se zagotovo vrnemo.

VELJA ZA OBDOBJA ALI TRENUTKE, KO VREME NE DOPUŠČA VODNIH UŽITKOV NA PROSTEM (SPOMLADI, JESENI), DRUGAČE PA ME TO NITI NE BI ZMOTILO. Edino kar mi ni bilo najbolj po godu, je časovno omejen dostop za otroke do notranjega bazena (od 10.00-13.00) in tudi te 3 ure zelo striktna pravila obnašanja, da vse skupaj izgubi čar sprostitve na dopustu. Če že razumem restrikcijo skakanja v vodo pa je tista o tišini med kopanjem v bazenu čisto odveč...lepo vas prosim, a me imate za norca...otroci so in naj bodo veseli vodnih iger.

Heel mooi resort met lang strand, je kunt goed snorkelen aan de oostkant van het resort, het ontbijtbuffet is heel uitgebreid, ook het Aziatische restaurant is uitstekend, je kunt veel excursies doen vanuit deze locatie, het personeel is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam

Excellent service, wonderful food, fantastic beach, quiet and family-friendly. Would definitely go back.
