The property was beautiful but over priced.

The service was extremely slow. The front desk was as pleasant but all the servers at restaurant and pool were not. First day my pillow had mildew all over it.

We really enjoyed our experience at the Waldorf Astoria in Park City. There was a bit of a mixup at check in that was remedied professionally and courteously. We had the most delicious lunch at Powder while we waited for our room (and returned for dinner later in the week for a fabulous meal with great service from Dulia and the most delicious bread and butter *ever*). We had a suite with two bedrooms. It was spacious, clean, comfortable, and well appointed. I would highly recommend that families NOT book only a “two queen” room as the beds are definitely only double beds, and four suitcases in one of those rooms would be tremendously claustrophobic. The housekeeping staff were excellent. We also ordered room service a couple of times, and those employees were friendly and courteous always. The pool was great, though I agree with one review I read here on TripAdvisor that the poolside DJ on Saturday didn’t quite strike the right chord for the environment. We had great service any time we wanted to order anything poolside. The trees and gardens around the pool were absolutely beautiful. S’mores were a hit with the kids. Complimentary coffee bar each morning was a hit with us adults. The gym was top notch with lots of clean equipment, classes, and plenty of options for a workout when traveling. Getting charged so much to park and having to interact with valet all the time to get anywhere gets a little bit tiresome, but it seems to be the nature of the beast with these kinds of hotels. Perhaps we missed out a little on a view from a higher floor, but I thought staying on the fourth floor was fantastic because we could walk right out to the pool (especially the kids) and also access the gym without messing around with an elevator. All in all, a really great resort and a great family vacation for us! Beautiful property, helpful and friendly waitstaff, very nice amenities, and a scenic location. Highly recommend and hope to go back someday!!

The property is stunning, nestled amidst the mountains of Park City. The hotel is beautifully maintained, with immaculate grounds and an elegant yet cozy interior design. Every detail, from the grand entrance to the luxurious guest rooms, reflects a commitment to excellence. What set this experience apart was the incredible staff. From the front desk to the housekeeping team, everyone we encountered was friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. It was clear that the staff takes great pride in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests. A special mention must go to the GM, Mark Waller, who went above and beyond to ensure this trip was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. He took the time to personally check in with us, offering thoughtful upgrades that perfectly suited our needs. His dedication and personal touch truly made us feel valued and cared for, elevating our stay to something we will remember forever. The Waldorf Astoria is a beautiful and well-kept hotel with an outstanding team that understands the meaning of hospitality. If you're looking for a luxurious getaway, this is the place to stay. We can't wait to return and create more cherished memories at this incredible property!

Liked the rooms and kitchen in the room. Pool was great also. Parking fees seem excessive. No self park option.

Overall our family had a wonderful time in Park City and the Waldorf Astoria added tremendously to our experience. This property felt like a resort and had all of the amenities we could ask for. The property was very nice and we especially enjoyed the personal customer service which the hotel brand is well known for, the valet and car service that we used often, and the free smores that our kids partook in every night. We had an issue with our refrigerator on our first night which cascaded into the early part of our vacation which is the main reason for removing a star, otherwise we would return to the property. Rooms: We stayed in the Junior Suite with Kitchenette 1 King room. This was our diamond upgrade from the Guestroom with Gas Fireplace 2 Queen room. For diamond members wondering about upgrades, we were told the hotel was at 28% capacity (so not full), we tipped the front-desk agent $100, and explicitly asked for a complimentary upgrade; the upgrade we received was the standard next room up which for us was fine. However, we were a family of four and we brought our dog on this trip - with hindsight we probably would have paid for more space. The room we received was a normal hotel room, typical of a standard king or 2 queen bed setup, the only difference that made it a "junior suite" was the small kitchen area that included a two electric stovetop setup and microwave. I would not recommend the Junior Suite with Kitchenette 1 King room if you have 4 (or more) people and would definitely recommend a larger room as our space seemed tight. Valet and Car Service: Easily my favorite part of the stay was the complimentary shuttle service. We used this service is a lot and it was very fast and easy to use. For pickup at the hotel, simply head to the lobby and ask for the shuttle. For pickup outside of the hotel, simply text the driver or call the hotel. The most we needed to wait was 8 minutes but typically the cars would arrive well within 5 minutes; we really liked this service. In addition, the valet staff (who also operated the shuttle) had great customer service and always made us feel welcome. Pool: We used the pool area everyday mostly after a day of excursions. During our stay the pool area was never crowded. There was one large pool, two jacuzzies, and a sauna. The pool area also included towel service in which the attendants would consistently setup your chairs, drink and food service in which the attendants walked the pool area consistently, and complimentary sunscreen. The pool was also heated which we enjoyed, although there were significantly varying temperatures in the pool during our stay. On one day the pool almost felt like a jacuzzi, and on a separate day the pool was heated but not nearly as warm as when it was heated to jacuzzi levels. Shoutout to Marius for the excellent pool service! Restaurants: We tried the Powder restaurant during breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food was delicious for each meal and we enjoyed the service during breakfast and dinner, although during lunch we had to flag the staff after sitting down a while just to take our order and this service level continued throughout lunch; perhaps consider only going to Powder to breakfast and dinner. We also utilized room service and ate at the pool. Overall, the prices for the restaurants and food are what we would expect (which are higher-than normal prices), but we paid what we were expecting to pay and the food quality was good. Pets: The hotel is very pet friendly. We brought our little yorkie and the hotel was certainly pet friendly for our little doggie. There were several relief areas for our yorkie and all of the hotel staff were friendly and welcoming to our dog. In fact, we saw several parties with dogs at the resort. The hotel additionally provided a dog bed and dog bowl that was complimentary during our stay. One thing to be very aware of is that if you have a dog in your room, the hotel staff will not enter the room unless there is someone from your party present; that is, for example, if you leave the dog in the room then hotel will not clean your room.

What’s not to like, staff was amazing and professional. Everyone treated you like you were the only guest there. Comfortable, clean, beautiful views, great location. Loved the restaurant onsite.

Excellent for a general "compare with", okay for a 5 star category... except that they kicked us out at exactly the check-out time. Never suffered this experience despite traveling a lot (usually there is a 15 minutes grace period -- or even an hour).
