SAii Phi Phi Island Village

The resort is nothing short of amazing. The breakfasts are fantastic, catering for all needs The staff are very attentive and caring. We loved the fun pool for the swim up cocktail bar and easy access to the beach. Happy hour is from 4-5pm. We enjoyed yoga 3x in our stay out in the main pool area in the early morning. The free bikes are great to get around the resort. There is plenty to do outside of the resort through the back of the village. A must is the Sunset bar for sun downers in the village nearby, nice staff, sun set views over the mangroves towards the moutains and great food, catering for a peanut allergy...... plus it is cheaper than the resort. The little village is is 3 mins away from the tennis courts at the resort and is super cool as it is is cheap and has everything from tours to laundry to cool little bars and of course this is all helping put money back into the the nearby communities, still recoving post tsuanmi 20 years ago. The bugger service is fantastic also. We did the hike up the mountains to Tonsaii to see the viewpoints 1-2, it is well worth the effort. Take lots of water, insert spray and a stick as there are monekys on the walk! We then got the resort long boat back at $300k per head as we couldn't face the return walk in the heat. We loved our stay and would reccomend to others needing some affordable luxury!

It is hard to say, as it was amazing. A few things that would enhance the stay: 1. Consider speedboat tour and crown pooling options to Maya bay etc. The cost $9k for a boat with no optoin to pool with other residents. Opportunity here. 2. Mini bar in the room is expensive containing all the products 1/2 price or less 3 minutes outside the resort. 3. The gym was great and met our needs, but could with a refresh. 4. Resturants although we didn't try based on latest reviews, may need some consideration to hotel guests in the resort. They all were very quiet. 5. Consider a FREE long boat shuttle from the island to Tonsaii - there is no way to get to the mainland any other way, Just say these are minor pointers, as we loved our stay and are very happy giving it 5 stars. These are areas for the resort to condsider. THANK YOU!

Traumhafte Anlage, Bungalows in Strandnähe bereits renoviert. Strandpanorama und Meer ein Sahnestück. Das local village ums Eck liefert das echte Thailandflair mit kleinen Restaurants und Bars. Die private Speedboat Inseltour (am Strand gebucht) war der Knaller, einfach nur ein Traum, was Phi Phi landschaftlich zu bieten hat. Auch die beiden Poollandschaften sind lobenswert.

Dusche ohne Fenster, hier bietet sich eine offene Dusche oder zumindest mit Oberlichtfenster an.

Piscine bien entretenue disponible toute la journée , accès à la plage en 1 minute , quantité de restaurants pour diversifier ses repas , petit déjeuner très complet , personnel toujours à l'écoute ...

Nice beach, rooms are clean and nice

The service is not 5 star hotel standard, staff hardly speaks English, not enough waiters, waiting long time for buggy, only 1 or 2 buggies operating per shift, not any evening activities in the hotel

Das Hotel liegt in einer traumhaften Bucht vor einer wunderschönen Kulisse mit den Bergen im Hintergrund und den Palmen in der Anlage . Egal ob bei Ebbe oder Flut ist das Meer einfach traumhaft. Bei Ebbe kann man sich einfach auf der Sandbank niederlassen und im Meer sitzen.

Wir haben das SAI Island Village ausgesucht, da wir dachten, dass es sich um ein Fünfsternehotel handelt; dies war jedoch keinesfalls so, was wir schon vor Anreise bemerkt haben: Im Vorfeld wurden uns immer wieder Angebote zum Transport auf die Insel zugeschickt, diese haben wir aber nicht angenommen, da wir noch warten wollten, bis wir auf Phuket waren. Dann haben wir drei Tage vor Ankunft verschiedene Nachrichten a das Hotel geschrieben mit der Bitte, uns ein Angebot zu unterbreiten. Die Antwort kam dann erst nach über einem Tag. Das ist soweit in Ordnung, jedoch merkt man sofort, wenn man ankommt, dass es sich um keinen Fünfsternehotel handelt. Hier eine kurze Zusammenfassung - sehr alter, ungepflegter dreckiger (Spaß-)Pool - ⁠ die Poolbar ist total verdreckt - dreckige Sonnenliegen - ⁠ ebenso ist die Zimmer Ausstattung alt und abgewohnt, die Möbel haben überall Katschen und die Möbel sind sehr einfache Holzmöbel - ⁠ das gesamte Essen im API Restaurant hat überhaupt nicht geschmeckt; das Personal überfordert. Die Getränke wurden erst nach dem Essen serviert. Auf die Rechnung mussten wir circa 25 Minuten warten. - ⁠ das Mobiliar im API Restaurant ist komplett alt und abgewetzt ! Außerdem riecht es dort sehr unangenehm, und auch das Frühstück ist eher unterdurchschnittlich. Und hat leider dort überhaupt nichts geschmeckt. Selbst das Toastbrot war nicht gut. - als wir ankamen hat die Klimaanlage im Zimmer nicht richtig gelaufen und es war sehr warm. Wir haben daraufhin die Techniker gerufen, die auch sofort kamen und die Klimaanlage repariert haben . Als Entschuldigung wurden wir angerufen und uns wurde eine Flasche Wein als Entschuldigung angeboten. Das fanden wir erst einmal natürlich sehr nett, jedoch sollten wir uns den Coupon für die Flasche Wein an der Rezeption abholen. -an der Rezeption fragten wir, ob sie uns in einem auswärtigen Restaurant einen Tisch reservieren könnten.

Le personnel, la plage, la piscine, l’emplacement des activités

Dans la chambre il fait trop chaud, ils ont mis la climatisation au-dessus en face du lit (bravo à celui qui a eu l’idée) du coup on se mange toute la climatisation dessus. Impossible de dormir avec la clim.

Location was excellent , the resort was well laid out and maintained , breakfast was excellent and the facilities were top notch , the beach was beautiful, restaurants at the local village were an added bonus …….. and there were loads of cats .

The bungalows adjacent to ours were having the roofs replaced - it was really noisy and marred our stay - I think the resort could have done better by us than that given the cost of a stay, an considering it was massive and half empty , they could have located us elsewhere .

Amazing location. Private beach, nice pool, very comfy rooms and showers. Close to a village where you can really taste how Thailand feels like outside the resort bubble.

A bit overpriced, at least during the high season.
