Hotel Riu Emerald Bay - All Inclusive

The sea view is spectacular, the staff is very nice!

The main building is VERY dated. Multiple times we had to wait over 15 mins to get an elevator. The “specialty” restaurants are not very good. The room was nice, but again it looks very old. We had requested a late check out over a month ago and they were not able to accommodate it. Check out was a very lengthy process and they don’t seem to manage groups smoothly (having only 2 people checking in and checking out at the main desk). I had asked about the hotel having transportation and they said they didn’t but when we arrived at the airport they did have a van taking people to the hotel, they very clearly separate people who book directly vs. agencies which feels unnecessary. When paying, I asked if I could make the payment directly on booking and they said no. The main lobby did not have AC neither did any of the restaurants which was VERY inconvenient. For a hotel at the beach they barely had any seafood, which seemed very odd. The buffets felt a bit repetitive.

Cuando llegué el viernes 17 de octubre a las 9 o 9 y media de la mañana aproximadamente el empleado de la puerta principal que da a la calle por dónde se ponen los taxis no me dejó entrar y me dijo que hasta las 10:30 u 11:00 y que ahí me esperara afuera y otro señor de los que cargan las maletas me dijo que no me quedara ahí que si podía pasar pero el primero muy mala atención

La suite está perfecta para ir con amigos o familia, tiene dos cuertos con su baño cada uno.

Todo esuvo excelente y cubrio mis espectativas, muchas gracias por el servicio.

Que el bar en la habitaciòn no lo llenaron durante mi estancia, aun que no lo ocupamos era parte del servicio.
