Dear Arena Hotel Management, I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to express my deep disappointment and concern regarding the conditions of the Room 118 during my recent stay at Arena Hotel, from 16/09/23-17/09/23. I have attached pictures to this email to provide a visual representation of the issues I encountered. To say that I was appalled by the state of the room would be an understatement. The pictures will illustrate the following major issues: Hygiene: The room was not properly cleaned. I found empty bottles, a disused curdled milk bottle, and the bathroom was particularly unclean, with visible stains and grime. Maintenance: Several items in the room were in a state of disrepair. The shower curtain was mouldy and brown, the carpets were filthy and stained with cigarette burns in places, and the furniture showed signs of wear and tear. Safety Concerns: Some of the electrical outlets appeared to be outdated were loose. This is a serious safety hazard that should not be overlooked. Unpleasant Odors: The room had an unpleasant, musty odor that persisted throughout my stay. I must emphasize that this experience was far from what I expected from my stay, and not only marred my trip but also left a lasting negative impression. I believe that the quality of service your establishment is not indicative of your usual standards. We have stayed here many times.

Cheap and easy to get to. Highway noise is bad, windows shut out some of you close them really tight.

This is the best hotel anyone can stay. We had such an amazing experience by just walking in. Staff are really nice and friendly. Cleaning staff are so sweet. Room is the best. We got two rooms. The smell is beautiful as you walk into the building. I recommend you to stay here. As we’re staying long term. They offered us cheaper deals. Overall everyone is so nice and kind.

Good for a overnight stay. Good part is Ample space for Parking

This is the worst I have ever stayed in. Cost $129. Check in good from lady behind bullet proof glass & locked door. not like the picture. Enter room smelly, pull back yukky bed spread & there's a bandage on the sheet. Lady moved us to another room. Not good either. No air con control she said climb on the bed & turn it on, no you get a control from another room we are to old to climb the bed. Had to ask for coffee , sugar , milk & tea but cups not washed from last person. Shower head was hanging from wall, someone has ripped off the towel rail in bathroom. Also asked for wine glasses she handed me 2 old plastic wine glasses that were filthy including lipstick on them . I carry Glen 20 so sprayed beds & left very early next morning hopping not to take any bed bugs with us. Soccer was on so every thing was booked but next time ill pay more for a better place like $210.

The shower head in my room was broken. Bed's shouldn't be on wheels

The whole trip was super last minute anyway for my husband and brother to go to the State of Origin. The bed was comfy enough for 1 night for 1 adult and 2 kids. The traffic was constant all night, I forget that Sydney doesn't sleep. The shower was a touch low on the wall, I'd hate to think how my 6-foot husband and brother went in their room. But I believe they managed. Staff were polite and helpful when I'd locked myself out of room only 30 mins after check-in. Rhe added bonus though, was that there us a servo and a red rooster at the front door of the hotel. That was convenient for milk I needed at the end of the night.

Very disappointing with cleanliness of the room we stayed in there was cockroaches everywhere my children were really traumatised by this for a very long time.

Eaay check in. Friendly staff. Clean and secure room. Very happy
