Gouves Water Park Holiday Resort

All in all we had a good holiday but I wouldn’t come here again . We paid 5 star prices, the hotel is not 5 star it’s a good 3 star in our opinion. The rooms are ok, beds comfortable, towels and beds changed daily. We did have a small fridge but had to ask for water to be restocked. There were some small bottles of fizzy pop provided also but we didn’t use them. The general cleanliness of the room and public areas was not 5 star but not overly dirty. The pools were nice and plenty to choose from but sun beds were saved by towels so you had to be early to catch free ones even though there were signs saying it wouldn’t be tolerated it was not policed. The good was a massive let down. Even though there was plenty to choose from most food was cold. The entrance/exit to the restaurant was right in the middle of deserts which constantly caused traffic jams. GPH if you read this you need to introduce a one way system it would make things so much easier! Alcohol was poor the draught larger awful and apart from the kids disco and family show in the amphitheatre there was no nighttime music or entertainment only background music. We had a lovely massage in the Spa by Albora but again tiles missing out of the jacuzzi which just wouldn’t happen in a 5 star hotel. The location, staff friendliness and main areas of the hotel all have the ability to become a 5 star just some care and attention needed

Solid 3/5. Room was perfect, bed was really comfortable. Pools were lovely. We had swim up masionette and spent majoirty of the time at this pool as it was quieter. Food hall was chaotic due to the amount of people eating and manners (or lack of) from some guests. Lots of plates piled high and untouched food left by some patrons. We mainly stuck to salads, dips, bread and cheeses, which were all really nice. The hot food was never very hot. Fussy eaters or people who are used to chicken nuggets and chip diet will struggle. The snack bars were good, and we ate there at lunch often. Bar staff friendly. Agree with other reviews the drinks were not great, and wine was awful. Location was good, close to beach and a few restaurants. If you are looking for lively bars and strip, gouves is not it.

Excellent massage. The aego spa is a lovely place. Albora gave me a nice and strong massage who helped me a lot with my shoulders. She gave you good recommendation before and after the massage to take care of yourself. I highly recommend this place and even more Albora

Amazing experience, staff are lovely, friendly and make you feel so welcomed. Would recommend to anyone visiting Gouves. Katerina provided me with my beautiful massage, 8 could of pay there all day.

Writing this review on our last day so the hotel is still fresh in my mind, overall this hotel is excellent and I would definitely recommend but I have a couple of points that I will get onto in this review. Firstly for check in, incredibly easy and reception staff are very helpful, we came late so they had provided sandwiches as restaurants/shop were closed. Our bags were brought to our room. Hotel room was brilliant, air con was good and beds were comfortable, good amount of space within the room with basic amenities like fridge and a safe, shower was good and fresh towels were provided whenever we needed them. Water was also restocked every two days. Pools were amazing, although my children were too small for the larger water slides, (bear in mind 1.2m tall), they were able to use the splash park which they both loved. There are pools for every type of travellers, quieter ones for relaxation and ones that are quite lively with water polo and aqua aerobics etc. The food was of good quality however this is one of my only slight disappointment with the hotel, the vegetarian options were scarce for my partner although she managed to find something to have each day, the food stations for the daytime food are very good, it would be brilliant if they could add vegetarian burgers or halloumi for the gyros, that would’ve really topped off our food experience. The entertainment team were brilliant and always on hand providing fun for the kids, the nighttime entertainment was good with decent variety, we especially enjoyed the magic and acrobatic shows but also the shows provided by the in-house team. The amphitheater is big and can fit large amounts however it is quite uncomfortable to sit on, if you attend the mini disco and then wait for the main entertainment you can be sat there for 2 hours ish on a hard wood bench. Overall this hotel is brilliant and I would recommend to people with young children as this hotel made our stay with 3 children aged 7, 4 and 2 months old very easy and enjoyable, so a big thank you to the people of Gouves Park.

I had an amazing time at Gouves Water Park! The water slides were so much fun, and the entertainment throughout the day was excellent—really kept the energy up and made the experience even better. A special mention to Chef Pablo and his team at the gyros bar, who were absolutely fantastic. The food was delicious, and they went above and beyond to be friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend for families, couples, or anyone looking for a fun and memorable day out!

Great massage, beautiful weather and decent food! The beach is super easy to get also! Lunch could be better but there is loads of options around the hotel. Katerina was a great for our massage. Would recommend
