Spark by Hilton Cincinnati Fairfield

Check in was fast, room was nice other than the sofa bed. Was switched to another room fast. Not bad for the price I’ve stayed in places for more that were horrible.

My stay was horrible. The website advertise the pool is open and it’s not. There was tape on the ceiling. The pull out bed had pee spots and was dirty. Tube wasn’t clean. The floors wasn’t clean. It had cups under the heater from previous people that had stayed. Overall I wasn’t satisfied. I’ve stayed in this hotel before and it was amazing, I don’t know what’s the problem now.

A lot of broken things. Pool out of service, screens broken, rusty tub. No coffee maker in room but there were coffee cups. Front desk person was hardly ever there. Elevator was scary too. Noisy and slow

Hotel has a window that leaks in the main lobby getting water all over the floor. Pull out couch in suites had the mattress destroyed. Overnight front desk person did not speak english. The pillows are old and broken down in the rooms. Coffee pot was dirty and unable to be utilized. Carpet was worn through to the point you can see the pad underneath. Breakfast in the morning was cold, same front desk person from night before observed guests looking for food and did not refill anything nor did he address any concerns they may have. Pool was also closed and hot tub was boarded shut. Do not recommend.

Check in was slow and unfriendly. Hotel was dirty and in need of many updates. Pillows were like mini marshmallows, not even regular sized. Bed was extremely uncomfortable Towels were stained or dirty or both. Surfaces were not cleaned. Blood stain on carpet. Loud, could hear literally everything in the halls and through the walls Did not feel safe

The hotel definitely needs repairs, wallpaper peeling off of the wall in the lobby, only had one elevator that was slower than molasses, our room had an obvious leak at some point as the ceiling had crack lines and bubbling paint, looked like they slapped a brush of paint on one wall like checking to see if they liked the color but never moved forward with painting it. Carpet was frayed and torn up in a section in the hallway. Only saw one employee at check in, then had to call out to a man working to set up food in the lobby in order to check out. Seemed understaffed. Someone on our floor was heavily smoking marijuana and it filled the entire hallway and also leaked into our room. I realize this isn't the hotel's fault, but it was annoying. At check in, a man ( I assume was a guest) came out of the hallway and told us to make sure we "check our beds" when we get to our room. Made me sick and not want to check in. Got to our room and tore the beds apart, didn't see any bugs but definitely found debris and hair under the top mattress like it had never been swept and cleaned. I didn't take pictures of everything I saw but took a few from our room and one in the lobby of random things that need attention.

The room was great. The pool was very disappointing: very dark in the evening, needed towels, and no toilet paper in the pool area bathroom. Breakfast was fine the first day, but not ready on time the second day & we picked this hotel because we needed their earlier breakfast time.
