Quality Inn & Suites Cameron Park Shingle Springs

Microwave had no display, bottom drawer of chest of drawers under the TV was broken, TV didn't have a remote when we checked in, but the front desk gave me one later. Floor tiles broken and loose in the bathroom.

Old and dirty

We stay here every year in August, like the upgrades

The toilet leaked poo water smelled so bad and the tub want painted to hide defects. The hot water in shower went from I minute to freezing cold seconds later. Just horrible, then we got charged over $200 for this place also Pool Not usable, no hot tub this place makes hotel 6 look like a luxury resort.

reasonable, though no breakfast, the pool and the jacuzzi did not work though it did not mention that when booking. could use some USB ports in the rooms

Hotel room was rundown. Carpet and bedspread had cigarette burn holes. Furniture was old and needed to be replaced. My room did not even have a closet. Pool was a swamp, even though photos showed it was useable.

Had roaches

Room was Poorly lit. Carpet was loose & Dirty. Bathroom was poorly painted. No grab bars for shower. Bathroom floor grout was dirty. Room furniture showed lots of wear. Carpet had holes and burn marks in it. All this for $154 per night.

Had to get a room at last minute on busy wknd and price was affordable. Lobby was spacious, clean and updated, rooms old, tired and kinda shabby. No screens on windows and bathrm window privacy glass was broken leaving only clear glass pane and no curtain. On an up-note; the bed was comfortable and the water was hot. Also, both the evening and morning office clerks were friendly and efficient.

No breakfast or breakfast type offering, pool in disrepair, fitness "center" was non existent and the only vending machine was out of order. The floors in the room were sticky and looked like many attempts to shampoo failed. It looked like a pipe burst and they never tore the carpet out but simply wet/dried the carpet. Window propped with water bottle. The staff however was very helpful and pleasant really trying to work with what they have. Owner should invest or sell.
