Barceló Tenerife

We had a great time at this hotel, huge spacious rooms and big hotel. Good food choices and friendly staff, special mention to Alice at kids club who made our kids trip even more special and fun! Not a huge amount around hotel, nice board walk along sea, and very close to airport which was very convenient! A side note, evening entertainment is outdoor and music can be heard from your room if you were staying close to the plaza area and wanting early night with kids! We were close to reception so minimal disruption!

Once again a lovely stay at this hotel. Lovely to be able to walk out of the hotel and along the boardwalk in both directions. One year they had a free bus service which would be great if they started it again. Great stakk too.

I took my 10 year old son here. Had a great time. It’s a stylish hotel which caters for all age groups. Location is close to the airport so if you don’t like planes flying over don’t go. Saying that the rooms are quit and peaceful. Staff are fantastic, all inclusive restaurant is excellent. Good systems in place to make you enjoy a better dining experience. Full credit to the chefs who cook live and the waiters who work very hard to please customers of all ages. Rooms are lovely, spacious, comfortable and clean with ISB charging points and good size TV’s. Loved the jacuzzi bath! Location is good for walks and San Blas the archeological site linked to the hotel is a must if you are physically able. Shout out to Arturo our guide. This is an authentic Barcelo hotel with great facilities. You won’t regret staying here! Maybe the hotel could improve the netting in the basketball court/tennis court area and fix the tennis court serving area, but that’s very critical. If you go to this hotel, I think you’ll have a good time, whatever your age. We loved it! Would go back tomorrow! Thanks for the experience!

Absolutely Amazing. From start to finish. Food, facilities, staff. Couldn’t fault a thing!! Filippo @ the breeze took real good care of us at lunch! Cannot wait to come back already!!

The perfect get away! The food has been amazing. The hotel is beautiful and everyone one is very friendly. We will be coming back as soon as we can!

A fantastic stay at Barcelo Tenerife, amazing hotel with great facilities, superb location, food, drinks and entertainment also outstanding. A special mention to Ivan (entertainment) and Alice (Kids club) what a credit these guys are to the hotel, they work so hard and go above and beyond for the hotel guests. Would return to this hotel next time I go back to Tenerife,

We had another fantastic holiday here. A beautiful, well-maintained hotel. The cleaning could be a bit better, but I'm quite critical about that. The food is delicious and the selection is enormous!

Wonderfully situated with Los Abrigos and Golf del Sur a few minutes’ walk in either direction along a pretty promenade, this hotel exceeded our expectations. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed and our suite had two balconies, two bathrooms and all the facilities one would expect. All of the staff were friendly and professional during our two week stay, with a very special mention to Cynthia, who was a fabulous representative of the cleaning staff and of the Barcelona brand. She deserves a pay rise! We were half board and found the choice in the Drago restaurant would have satisfied the most picky customer. The buffet style does not always lend itself to piping hot food and one recommendation of ours is the availability of a couple of microwaves. Desserts were particularly delicious. There was a variety of entertainment options available and we enjoyed the flamenco dancers and the Tina Turner tribute act. The layout of the hotel, spread over a very wide area, might not suit the less mobile clientele, though every set of steps had an alternative sweeping ramp to suit wheelchair users and buggy pushers. As a reasonably active pair of seventy year olds, we managed our ten thousand steps most days! We will certainly return and consider the cost was justified by the experience.
