Warner Springs Ranch

Location is good, not so far from Anza Birrega desert.

Came for New Years, was the last place available... it was a getaway! Will definitely book in advance in the future however. (Also VERY COLD bathroom floors)

We didn't get to see much because it started to snow, but what we saw was enough to decide to come back. It was peaceful, relaxing, no TV. The only thing we would have appreciated was a microwave:)

No TV in the room and they're renovating the grounds. Good luck with that, if you're choosing to stay here.

Really liked the proprty. Very cute! Great price! The only thing was that we spilled some water on the bathroom floor, and when we wiped it up, the rag was black! So that was disgusting. But we'd stay again.

Staff was awesome accommodating us for a very full race weekend up on reservation.

If you are there when it is cold roll up the bath mat and use it as a seal at the bottom of the door to keep out the cold air.

Very friendly, helpful check-in at the Gas Mart. Room was very clean, but we did find a pair of kid's retainers (invisalign?) in the sofa cushion--kind of creepy. No TV! But that was fine. Shower pressure was AWFUL, way below adequate. Bathroom was spacious, clean, modern and the window opened to the outside fresh air. My daughters opted out of showering because of the shower pressure, but they loved the room.

This property is a treasure, but is in the midst of much needed refurbishing. We are told the hot springs could be re-opened by year end. In the meantime, go for peace & quiet in old adobe-walled cabin with great view of night sky.

I was very happy with the overall stay. Clean and comfortable! However, the communication level here was very poor. We tried to call and email the resort that we'd be checking in after 9pm. Still no response. Arrived at 10:15pm to the closed Gas Mart. There was no instruction on how to get to our cottage or even where it was located. No apparent signage, all was dark around this very rural location. Pretty frustrating because NO ONE ANSWERED THE RESORT PHONE, NO SIGNS TO HELP US FIND WHERE WE NEEDED TO GO. After our 7-hr drive to this rather remote location, my wife, two kids and I were about to give in to sleeping in our truck--I decided to drive a bit up the road. I turned around when I discovered nothing ahead on my GPS. We returned to camp at the Gas Mart, I noticed a nightwatchman's shack and a wrought-iron gate on the right. NO LIGHTS AND NO SIGNS INDICATING THE ENTRANCE. I pulled up, a friendly guy came out and told us we were in the right place. Such a nice place, such poor communication. Could have been a long night in our truck because there was no way to contact the proprietors. I won't recommend this place to anyone until they fix their communication issues. Very simple solutions for a nice place.
