I would like to share my experience with W Maldives Hotel. From the moment we arrived at W Maldives, we felt the positive energy that make this place so special. It wasn’t just a vacation, it became an experience we’ll never forget. Saha welcomed us with such genuine kindness, showing us around and checking in throughout our stay. From the moment we arrive till we checked in for our flight, she was always connected to us ensuring a smooth experience. I would like to thank to Celine, Tiqur, and Aidh at Fish restaurant for making our first night unforgettable. Kat at Wet Deck for her contagious positivity and bright smile. At Kitchen, Dilya and Siska made every morning a joy by greeting us with big smiles and positive energy. Always addressing us by our names and making sure our mood was always lifted. Arshan at Fire impressed us with his friendly service and attention to detail. The whole F&B team truly went above and beyond by taking care of us and always smiling, calling us by name, and making us feel at home. Claire, the F&B Manager, deserves special mention for her care and personal touch. Creating not only a vacation, but ensuring her guests were always looked after and making the experience genuine and personal. We also loved diving with Ding, who made the experience safe and amazing while diving. Working out with Mark from the Health Club, whose energy was inspiring. Lastly I would like to give a big thank you to Nich, who made sure everything about our stay went perfectly from start to finish. Even with a few rainy days, the team’s warmth and spirit turned every moment into something special. We left with full hearts and can’t wait to return. The hotel staff were very accomadative and friendly, the scenery was amazing. Additionally, the amenities were of great quality.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay — this is truly an exceptional resort for a relaxing and peaceful vacation. Everything was perfect. The breakfast was rich and varied, and the dinner quality was outstanding. Our villa’s location offered an amazing snorkeling experience right from our doorstep. We were also deeply touched by the thoughtful anniversary and birthday surprises prepared by the team — they made our stay even more special and memorable. Thank you for all the warm hospitality and attention to detail. As a small suggestion, it would be great if the daily activities could be shared in the WhatsApp group one day in advance. This would help guests plan ahead and perhaps connect with others from around the world through the activities. Additionally, it would be lovely if the hotel could offer a postcard service featuring its signature views — guests could write and send their thoughts and memories to themselves or loved ones, creating a meaningful keepsake of their stay. We’re extremely satisfied and would love to come back again!

Some experiences are so surreal and indescribable that they take time to fully digest — you need to let them settle before you can even begin to share them. It’s been over a week since we returned from the most awe-inspiring and unforgettable vacation celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, and we’re still reeling from the magic of it all. My husband could not have chosen a better destination than the W Maldives to surprise me with. From the moment we landed in Malé, the entire experience was first-class — incredible and seamless from start to finish. At the airport, we were greeted by Ibrahim, who escorted us to the Seaplane Lounge. He was courteous, professional, and attentive, handling every detail for us until we reached the departure gate. First Impressions Matter The moment we stepped onto the dock over the mesmerising, azure-blue waters surrounding the beautiful W Maldives, we were warmly welcomed by the wonderful staff — including Koki, who greeted us with refreshing lavender-scented towels and drinks in cool coconut cups. We were then introduced to Callisa, our personal guest host, who gave us a brief tour of the resort, showed us the amenities, and escorted us to our Overwater villa. She connected with us via WhatsApp to ensure she was always available to answer questions, make dinner reservations, or arrange anything we desired — whenever, whatever. This signature W motto truly defined our stay and made it the most personalised and memorable holiday we’ve ever had. The entire staff was consistently courteous, attentive, and genuinely committed to making sure our experience was exceptional — and they absolutely succeeded. The Villa Our Spectacular Overwater Villa was incredible. I fell in love with the glass portal in the floor that offered a direct view of the tropical fish swimming beneath our bungalow. The room was thoughtfully designed, stocked with every imaginable comfort and curated detail. The resort grounds were pristine — seamlessly blending natural beauty with luxurious design elements that constantly caught our attention. Exceptional Team & Service The guest experience managers and front office team, led by Saito (The Great), Nishula, and Koki, ensured every detail of our stay was perfect. Callisa, in particular, went above and beyond to make our 25th-anniversary celebration unforgettable. What stood out most was how sincere the entire team was — they didn’t just ask how they could improve our stay; they genuinely meant it. When I mentioned that our pillows weren’t to our comfort level, the issue was already resolved the very next morning. Their drive to make guests feel cared for and at home was evident in every interaction. Culinary Excellence Our dining experience was simply outstanding from Ocean to Table. Each meal was a celebration of flavour, artistry and sensory pleasure. Executive Chef Karan and the teams at Kitchen and FISH, as well as the various bars on the resort, were simply outstanding. Special thanks to Adam, Mani, Nihal, Ara, and John (Aquaman) — they were simply exceptional in how they made us feel celebrated, seen and appreciated during our week there. Vasanth treated us to the most incredible Sri Lankan feast — a meal so delicious and thoughtfully prepared that it will remain one of our fondest gastronomic experiences from our trip. Housekeeping & Special Touches The housekeeping team was equally exceptional. German and Sonte went above and beyond to make our villa feel special — from the welcoming decorations upon our arrival to the breathtaking display they created for our 25th-anniversary night. Their attention to detail, creativity, and pride in their work truly touched our hearts. Every Moment was Memorable We are grateful that Aarti captured a beautiful video of us practising Laughter Yoga - Joy Rituals with Rajendra Kumar and Katrin Berger of Happy Hormones Yoga, and for the complimentary photoshoot - beautiful reminders of the love, happiness, peace and connection we felt throughout the week. Final Reflections I cannot say enough about W Maldives. We were pampered, cared for, and completely spoiled with attention beyond our expectations. As we were leaving, we made plans for our next trip to paradise — regardless of when we return, this 25th anniversary trip will hold a special place in our hearts forever. 💙

My husband and I spent two weeks at this beautiful property, and even then we couldn’t get enough of it. The location is stunning – a pristine island surrounded by crystal-clear waters. The house reef is spectacular, easily the best snorkeling spot we’ve experienced so far. The dining was outstanding, with every meal a delight. Even with my vegan diet, the team went above and beyond to provide everything I wished for – and more. The villas are superb, the room service impeccable, and every detail is taken care of with such thoughtfulness. From beginning to end, our stay was flawless. Above all, what touched us most was the staff: each person was genuinely kind, attentive, and incredibly helpful. After two weeks, leaving was truly difficult, as we felt completely at home.

Recently returned from a fantastic stay at W. Thankyou to all staff and management for helping to make our stay so special. From the arrival greeting to our farewell we enjoyed all aspects of this recently renovated resort. Staff were amazing, nothing too much trouble and very friendly. Particular mention to Hashish and Mani in Sip (who made us the Angelfish cocktail) the pool bar staff and all restaurant staff. The entry level water villa had been renovated to a very high standard, with all life’s comforts included. The restaurants, Kitchen, Sea and Fire, produced some of the best food we have experienced in the Maldives. We would not hesitate to return to W for more. A big thankyou to our travel agent, Clare at Angelfish, for making the arrangements and ensuring the trip went smoothly and always knowing what suits us best.

1st time in Maldives and was mind blown with the experience. Initially booked for 7 nights but the peace, luxury and hospitality we got made us extend for another 3 nights. Resort was based on a natural island and very recently renovated and opened only in March'25. Being a water baby, loved their over water villa in which we ended up staying 8 nights. Glass bottom view was unique. Finally accepted their room upgrade gesture to beach villa and was completely different experience. Luxury isn't just expensive furniture and facilities. It's about how people make you feel warm and welcoming and would make you stay back. 100/10 to W Maldives team for that. Meet and Greet sundowner for elite members with the resort management was something I came across first time and was amazed at it. Met Mr. Amila (GM) and several other leaders. Had a long chat with Mr. Amila and came to know he is a wine someliar and whisky collector. He even offered wine tasting experience. From every exotic fruit or vegetable to any out of menu request was fulfilled by the team at breakfast venue by Chef Vasanta and Chef Richard. Happy faces and great food was perfect kickstart to start the day (not to forget free flowing mimosas). They had even hosted our farewell private dinner. Whatever, Whenever team showed signature experience of the W Hotels. Thanks to Calisa and Aittee. Evenings were unwinding experience from the great liquid chef and team leader Ashish. Silva and Tendai were the masters too. Chris had his magic in creating the ceviche. Wanida was a great at bringing those drinks to us. Ashish and Chef Baka made farewell dinner and cocktail pairing and unforgettable one. Being vegetarian, we thought they would have nothing for us to offer at the other two restaurant Fish (Seafood based) and Fire (Steak based) but we were completely wrong! They made us vegetarian version of any food we asked. Be it in the menu or out of the menu, food was delicious. Unknowing of this we had asked and they served us food from international restaurant as well. Chef from Nepal made Momos which my wife loves. She was so happy. Away spa was the best treatment we had received. I could never feel the nodes being cleared and tension being removed. Worth totally the price. We requeststed reception for back office tour and they were happy to offer it. We wouldn't imagine what happens behind the scenes and was shocked to see how sustainable resort was. Hot water being generated from heat of generators, sea water being filtered to becoming drinkable and generating electricity from bio waste. The stay changed my mind of trying another resort for my next Maldives visit. Definitely two happy souls will be coming back sometime soon. P.s. Every time we go to the Maldives, we find peace, smiles, and good things, especially at W Hotel. The service is good, the accommodations are clean and safe, and the food is delicious, especially at the Fish restaurant. It makes us want to go back again next year. See you.

It was my first trip in Maldives and everything was perfect. Resort conditions, kind W employees, perfect cuisine, nice diving center, everyday sports program, and so on. I will definetly visit W maldives again. I missed W maldivies

From the moment we landed in Malé, we could tell this place was different. The airport arrival team is on another level—big smiles, real energy, genuine care. They even surprised us when we departed and, not exaggerating, we cried. It felt like leaving friends. Huge love to our secret angel, Bisha. She quietly made everything perfect—thoughtful anniversary surprises, and every night a handwritten card with her beautiful drawings that felt so personal and warm. When we weren’t feeling well, she sent fresh coconut to our villa without us asking. That kind of care stays with you. Housekeeping deserves its own shout-out: Nadeen is incredible. Our villa was spotless every single day and night, and his decorations were the best we’ve seen anywhere. The leaf calligraphy he created on the bed was jaw-dropping—one of a kind and truly memorable. You could feel the pride and artistry in his work. Food and drink were a highlight from start to finish—WET Deck, KITCHEN, FIRE, FISH—creative menus, beautifully executed, genuinely gourmet without the fuss. Claire was everywhere in the best way: fully dedicated to the experience in her restaurants and the food. She listened, adjusted, and just made things happen, always with a smile and a lot of “love”. We felt so looked after. And Mani at SIP kept the vibes (and drinks) perfect—thank you! We can’t even list all the names here, but honestly, everyone we interacted with deserves a trophy. The “Whatever/Whenever” promise is real at this resort. People take ownership and do it with joy. It’s luxury, but it’s warm and playful, never stiff. We left with full hearts and a bunch of memories we’ll be talking about for a long time. If you’re thinking about it—go.
