The newly renovated resort is a masterpiece NO YouTube video could ever capture the vibe, the energy, the way it channels W’s iconic Whatever/Whenever spirit into every corner of its design. But what truly elevates the experience is the talent behind it. From the friendly faces at F&B to the meticulous housekeeping team and even the engineering crew, everyone is genuinely invested in making your stay unforgettable. They don’t just do their job; they spark conversations, anticipate needs, and go that extra mile without hesitation. The resort is a playground for water lovers: snorkeling the vibrant house reef, hopping on a private boat to swim with nurse sharks, or simply soaking in the serenity of their private island, each moment feels like a dream you don’t want to wake up from. And let’s not forget the ultimate indulgence: their chocolate cookies. Dangerous. Divine. Unmissable. Honestly, no post could ever do justice to the magic of this stay. You just have to live it.

We go to W hotel for my wife birthday. All people are very kind and arrange wonderful arrangement for the celebration. They give my wife many surprise of happy birthday! We won’t forget so nice experience. Will come again!

We have just returned from W Maldives and our experience was absolutely unforgettable. The resort is luxurious, brand new and designed to perfection and every detail is carefully thought out. We stayed in the Premier Overwater Villa, and it was nothing short of spectacular. A huge terrace with a private pool, lounge area with a swing and sunbeds… you could easily spend your entire stay without leaving the villa at all. Every corner of the resort is curated with purpose, and there is always something to enjoy. The house reef is simply stunning. As a complimentary experience, we joined a guided snorkeling session with a professional instructor, who showed us sharks, turtles, rays and an incredible variety of colorful fish. Water sports equipment such as Jet Ski and Seabob are all brand new and extremely powerful - top class. The instructors are true professionals and made us feel safe and excited at the same time. Sports & activities: paddle tennis, yoga, gym and cross-fit area - everything is world-class. Food is a story on its own. Everything we tried was outstanding across all the restaurants. If gastronomy is an important part of your travels - this resort will exceed your expectations. Our personal favorite was the FISH restaurant - don’t miss the chance to book a dinner there (actually, better more than once!). But what truly makes W Maldives exceptional is the people. The entire team goes above and beyond to make every day special. We would like to thank everyone, but especially: John (Aquaman) - for introducing us to authentic Maldivian dishes, making every evening memorable, and for his kindness, warmth and care that made us feel truly at home. The Chef Bakaa at FISH - an extraordinary talent; we were absolutely impressed and trusted him every dinner without even looking at the menu. Thanks to Chef Bakaa we had the best gastronomic experience of our lives! Sandra, sommelier Tendai, Ajit and the wonderful Lin and Celine - the amazing F&B team, for outstanding experience. Sport instructor Mark, who is not only a great professional but also a wonderful person. Maryz for making our stay so comfortable and seamless. We left with unforgettable memories. W Maldives was truly incredible. Their service was seamless, from the moment they picked us up at the airport until the time we checked in. Everything was so well thought out. The resort itself is paradise — beautiful in every corner. Snorkeling quickly became our favorite activity, and it was so easy to spot sea turtles every day. As a Titanium member, I was touched by the way the team greeted me by name and made me feel so special. I want to thank everyone at the resort — literally every staff member we encountered had a smile on their face, radiating warmth and genuine care. Great job, W Maldives! We had a truly wonderful stay at W Maldives. The service here is absolutely outstanding — attentive, warm, and very personal. The island itself is small and cozy, but feels extremely well-maintained and thoughtfully designed. What impressed us most is that the service doesn’t feel formal, but rather like visiting family who have been waiting for you for a long time and are genuinely happy to see you. Words cannot describe the incredible holiday we had at the W Maldives. This was #1 on our travel bucket list and we chose it to celebrate our 40th anniversary. In every respect it exceed our expectations. From the initial “wave maker” greeting when we arrived, to the tear filled end of our visit, the staff made us feel like family. Our concierge (Bisha), the site operations manager (Christian), and the wizard of guest experiences (Sandra), supported by a truly amazing cast, made our dream trip a reality++. As longtime Marriott Bonvoy members, we have never felt more valued. We are so grateful - thank you!!

We stayed at the W early August and it was the best hotel we have stayed at in the Maldives. The service is exceptional. Christian and his incredible team made our trip so memorable. From the moment we arrived at Male airport, Ibrahim took such good care of us and checked us in while we were waiting in the lounge for the seaplane. The resort is beautiful and well maintained, with the most amazing house reef. Big thank you to lifeguard Salim for helping us find the resident sea turtles making our trip the best! The daily kids activities were so much fun. Mark and Shakeel were so good with the kids. Daily popsicles by the pool were a treat for us. Our room stylist Jambe was so attentive to our needs. And the cleanliness level of our room was always 100%! Big thank-you to Saha and all of the front of staff for taking care of our every needs. Words cannot express what a truly wonderful time we had at the W. We can’t wait to comeback again!

A very happy honeymoon trip, starting from the welcome ceremony when we landed by seaplane, everything began to feel like a fairy tale: the scenery was breathtakingly beautiful, and all the staff at W were smiling and welcoming every guest. From time to time, there was even Chinese service, which made us feel very close. · Service: Excellent! They were always ready to help. From the guest rooms to the restaurants to the "0" hotline, the service was prompt and considerate. · PS: The staff here don't seem like service workers; they are more like friends. I must share this! @Bishko, our butler, was very attentive. On the first day, he was super helpful in solving problems and even brought us many little surprises. It was truly heartfelt service, amazing! @Razzan, the treasure boy, a smart and hardworking young man. He was great at drawing and extended his talent to photography, becoming our personal photographer later. He drew on the small cards, which was very thoughtful! @Izit, at Wet restaurant, a walking encyclopedia. Thanks to his introduction, we learned the little details of snorkeling and thus saw more beautiful scenes. Remember to chat with him at Wet! @Linn and Cicka, I might have misspelled their names. These two Chinese-speaking ladies were super considerate. They would offer help to everyone in different restaurants every morning and evening. @Mamun, our stylist, worked very hard to clean our room every morning and evening. He also provided us with bubble baths and warm little cards. He was not very talkative, but he was so romantic and considerate. @Anna, the Tianjin friend at the diving center, was very enthusiastic and professional. She helped us gradually understand the many fun places on Niyama Island and made detailed arrangements for us. We are really grateful to everyone! · Food and Beverage: We chose the HB package, which provided two meals a day, which was more than enough. We would go snorkeling in the morning, then come back to wash up and have a meal, which we treated as brunch. In the afternoon, we would play and then have dinner. Two meals a day kept us healthy and not gaining weight, and we still had a great time eating. · Environment: W never disappoints. The private island was full of surprises, and every detail was meticulously designed. · Sanitation: The staff cleaned twice a day, keeping everything consistently clean without any hygiene blind spots. * Minor flaw: Diving was the most anticipated activity, but the instructor who took us diving was not very patient and his language was not very appropriate, which made us, who were trying diving for the first time, feel uneasy and scared. It somehow affected our mood, but it was perfectly made up for by the other staff at the hotel. Anyway, thanks to all the staffs and friends in W Maldives, it will be one of our best memories in our life. Missing all of you!
