DoubleTree by Hilton El Paso Downtown

I was not able to use the room because it was not clean or ready at the time of my arrival. Since the room was never provided in acceptable condition, I did not stay or use the service. However, I was still charged, which I believe is incorrect. I kindly request a full refund for this charge. Please let me know how this can be resolved as soon as possible. Thank you.

Location was great, walking distance to downtown and plenty of restaurants, ensure you check the business hours as El Paso Downtown is slow. Check in was good, restaurant was excellent, had a nice pizza and salad for dinner. Customer service at the restaurant is good, they are always asking if everything is ok. It appears the hotel rooms are being renovated, mine was in good condition, huge tv, fridge and desk. The bathroom was a bit dated but nothing wrong with it. My only suggestion is that the shower head needs more pressure, the aerator needs a few more gallons per hour as it took a while to rinse my body, I understand that we want to conserve water but the faucet would waste more water than the shower. Breakfast at the restaurant was good, the highlight was the avocado toast, only recommendations is the portions, first day, two toasts, the next day only 1 toast. The veggie omelet was alright, i would prefer real eggs than the liquid eggs used. Service still great at the restaurant, definitely would come back.

Constant renovations, workers coming into my room unannounced while I’m in there.

The location was cool. I liked that you could see the baseball field from the pool area. The facilities were very nice & so were the employees

I was unaware there were renovations going on when I booked, but it didn’t affect much of our stay. The only thing was dirt or debris that would fly out of the vent onto the desk that was in the room.
