DoubleTree by Hilton El Paso Downtown

I recently stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel El Paso Downtown, and while the experience was okay overall, it did not meet the standard I typically expect from a Hilton property. The hotel itself is quite dated and in need of significant updates. My room lacked basic amenities like a refrigerator, and the iron was broken. When I attempted to call the front desk, I discovered the phone wasn’t working at all—it was connected to the wall jack but completely dead. The shower also leaked, and the towels provided were noticeably thin and worn. Another concern was the in-room safe. It didn’t function properly, and I noticed it wasn’t even secured in place, meaning it could easily be removed—something I found surprising and concerning. The front desk staff seemed somewhat inconvenienced during check-in, and as a Hilton Honors member, I was disappointed not to receive the usual warm cookie or acknowledgment—something I’ve come to expect at DoubleTree properties. That said, not everything was negative. The hotel was clean, and the location near the downtown area is convenient. Additionally, the staff in the restaurant and bar were very friendly, and the bartender in particular provided excellent service. Overall, while the stay was acceptable, I would not choose to stay at this property again. In the future, I’ll likely look at other Hilton options closer to the airport or near the university for a more consistent experience.

Booked two queen beds recieved one king bed added rollaway and the slept on chair for 4th person Called booking. Com recieved notice contacted hotel Hey help what so ever. Declined to refund any of the price we paid. Hotel stated talk to booking.com ; booking . Com speak to hotel. You sleep on a two chairs and see how much you appreciate the stay

Lol maybe it’s just me being fat but I didn’t know we’re to reheat my pizza up that I got earlier in the day lol maybe I didn’t look hard enough but maybe a microwave somewhere would be elite 💪🏽👏🏽
