Fantasy Island Beach Resort and Marina - All Inclusive

What I loved: They have three beautiful private and pristine beaches, very quite and a lot of space for you to walk, run or just sit relax and enjoy. Excellent place to take tons of photos. The entertainment personnel do a great job with their program during the day and night, they have yoga classes, aerobics, volley bay, dance classes and after their evening program you can dance, Alejandra, Junior and Patrick will invite you to participate and encourage you to dance. Alejandra Guzman is super friendly and will try to answer any questions you may have. She definitely make my stay a better experience in this place. I liked that they offer transportation but you have to pay either in advance or when you arrived at the hotel. The room I stay was very spacious and super clean, tons of towels. Most employees are very shy but if you talk to them they will help you. Emilse at the restaurant was very friendly and will ask to help you with a beautiful smile. Suggestion for improvements: The entrance and lobby look old and dirty, this gives you a bad impression from the moment you arrive at the hotel. The personnel at reception are not very friendly and they do not give you enough information about the different activities, ways to get around the hotel, wifi, etc. They tell you to read a itinerary they have instead. I took a photo so I could remember their schedule. The snack bar did not have any snacks or food when I arrived and I had to wait until 6:30 pm when they offer dinner. They only have a bar for drinks and it was most of the time crowded. I was disappointed they did not have any beer from Honduras. Food was in many occasions cold and tasteless. They do not offer any seafood, you can ordered (a la carte) at reception one night prior but their options are very limited. Most personnel are very shy but if you talk to them they will try to help you. I noticed most people do not tip them. Tisha (operations manager) was very rude and laud. I had issues with my bracelet the first day morning and was looking for wifi service, she came to talk to me as if I was an employee or worst she used the term *illegal Alien* imagine some foreign working in your own country and using this terminology towards you. This is the worst experience and treatment I have ever had. Wifi service is the worst, I did not have wifi in my room they only have it available near the lobby and the bar.

The best about this hotel is the private beaches, so beautiful and quite. I loved the entertaiment program they have during the day and night. The entertainment personnel are super friendly. The rooms are spacious and very clean. What I did not like: the entrance and lobby are dirty and old. It gives a bad impresion when you arrive. Recepcion does not give enough details about the hotel, activities or ways to get around. The food was cold and taisteless sometimes. There was not wifi service in the room and most parts of the hotel only near the bar and swim pool aerea.

From the beginning there was a total confusion, the shuttle did not have enough space for us, my mom which cannot walk well had to wait standing for a long time to sit in the shuttle, at the time of check in, not organized, we personally had to fill out the paperwork, I paid for the shuttle and there was no change, I left and no one gave me my change, the beach, view and premises are beautiful and the buffet is delicious, but the staff needs training, I would not go back.

My room was comfortable, clean, and just steps away from the ocean. The dive operation was the highlight of the trip. The dive staff were professional, safety-focused, and knew the sites extremely well. The boats were well-maintained, and the dives themselves were incredible — crystal-clear waters, stunning reefs, and an amazing variety of marine life. Every dive felt unique, and the guides made sure we got the most out of every site. There was construction occurring and I am looking forward to seeing the improvements. It's a little older than others but has class and wonderful staff. The food wasn't anything super special but I was still impressed with the quality and taste. I just wish there was some seafood options occasionally, and their snack bar options could be upgraded. Overall I can't wait to be back in this water at this resort!

Everything when I got in the room, I noticed there were ants everywhere. But I try not make a big deal I left the room and went to get something to eat when I got back the ants were everywhere in the ceiling the bed. I packed up all my stuff and my kids and left the room and ask to switch which they did and it was actually a better room thank goodness

The hotel is old dirty some off the staff is very rude the rooms are very outdated
