Residence Inn Norfolk Downtown

I really don't like leaving these but this team was good. I felt bad there was a gentleman ridiculing the workers which seemed odd.

Stay was great

In Downtown Norfolk, in walking distance to Clubs/Bars, Restaurants, the waterfront, just really a beautiful location, very well kept, loved the whole experience. The rooms are beautiful, and the upkeep is excellent. I can't wait to go back, Residence Inn Norfolk Downtown is now my place to stay when visiting Norfolk VA.

The first thing to point out is they have an amazing woman manning the front desk and her name was Theresa! She was phenomenal in every way related to customer service. She did everything she could to help a guest that was in front of us when we were checking in. The guest was being very difficult but Theresa was unfazed and provided excellent customer service care. Bravo Theresa! Our room was just fair. The overwhelming odor of air fresher that slammed into us as we walked into the room hinted that something bad was trying to be covered up. The room otherwise appeared to be clean and despite the smell of the air freshener was comfortable. Although the pillows on the sofa need to be replaced and the sofa needed some repair. Parking was a bit dicey as the public garage is across the street and drop off can be difficult depending on when you arrive.

Was an amazing stay, amazing staff!! Lots of food options nearby and a lot of things to do daily. Property is a little older but is amazing with the offered amenities and the staff goes the extra mile to make everyone have a warm and comfortable stay!!

While visiting my friend in the hospital, I needed a place to rest and this place was magnificent!!

Room was decent, location was great. Aside from the lady at the front desk while checking in everyone was super friendly.

The pullout couch was broken and awful to sleep on. The lady at the front desk was a little snippy and rude. She could use a little more customer service training.

The hotel was only a 5 min walk from our event and the facility was nice and fairly clean.

The staff seemed very dismissive and unorganized. One of the front desk attendants was on her phone while checking in myself and others. The only parking available is paid parking in a parking deck of which you must park on the 3rd or 4th floor.
