Mason Elephant Lodge

What could be better than seeing elephants throughout your stay? And the fact that you get transported for dinner to the restaurant via elephant is mind blowing! The hotel room itself was beautiful, well appointed and extremely clean.

My stay was amazing. The staff are so friendly treat you like family not like tourists. My room was so cozy and peaceful environment. Good energy here.

We loved the place. Staff was extremely friendly and the whole place was clean. Food was amazing and it seemed the elephants were treated very well.

Bad, stinks, boring, elephants are slaves, far from anything, poor food one day is enough. 2 star at best

Very disappointing experience, website and Instagram does not reflect reality at all. the odour in the luxury park view rooms are terrible due to elephant rest area. What they deem as luxury is a very basic room. This would be barely a 2 star property. Elephants are constantly working non stop and chained by their legs. It was sad to see, we booked 5 nights and left after 1 night with no refund given by the property and the cost of room is not worth the value. Only upside was the pancakes at breakfast. Would suggest to not stay, only do a day pass if u want to see the grounds and elephants. Taro 1.5hrs away from anything else to do with highly difficult driving conditions.

For this time of year the hotel seemed pretty quiet which was a good thing for the kids and parents! Staff was amazing!

This place is not as popular as it should be. When people talk about Bali, this needs to come up. I only came across it when I purposely searched “elephants in bali”. 1. The hotel itself is very comfortable, clean rooms, nice restaurants with great cocktails, breakfast etc. so even if you don’t like elephants, it’s a great “hotel / resort”. Different and better experience than a villa to be honest 2. The elephants are a PLUS!!! You have activities where you can bathe and wash and swim with the elephants. You’re one on one with them and very CLOSE up. You can get your once in a lifetime photos with elephants (not through a fence) but sitting on / standing by/touching them. You can choose a room that lets you see elephants through your balcony. If you’re lodging here, walking the grounds to see the elephants and feedin the elephants is free. This place is magical Also, you don’t have to lodge here, you can come in for just the elephant activities. But if lodging (which I advice- it’s great)- you get discounts for the activities. 3. Their customer service is GREAT. free welcome drinks, nice staff. if you’re nice to them, you could get a free room upgrade In summary, everyone going to Bali should visit this place. They take credit cards (which is a huge plus in Bali) and they can organize a ride for you to other parts of town at a very reasonable price. PS- I wasn’t paid for this review. My visit with them wasn’t sponsored either. This is all just honest review.

A wonderful experience to frolic with the elephants such amazing animals. Room was comfortable quiet and clean. WiFi absolutely Terrible though either no signal or continuously dropping out. Meal were decent and filling Recommend a 1 night stay to cover all opportunities Satisfied customers
