"Aquarium Hotel,krokus expo City, Moscow"

4.0

Located in a new compound, in the same building of The fair and Concert All is very comfortable for those who really needs to be in the area and avoid traffic jams, expensive taxi fares and don't want to cross the town with the local public transportation. 24hr/ shopping center and a beautiful shopping mall nearby. Very kind personel by the desk the only English speaking personel in the Hotel. Rooms are very big, no fridge, crappy TV sets, no choice of channels, only international chanels are news networks. The rooms are new but falls in pieces, my room has the stem of the shower to short to keep the shower sprayer in position and the safety handle of the bathroom was detached from the wall making it a very dangerous device expecially for Senior citizens. Very noisy air vent was on at all time with extremely poor air exchange system left very low oxygen in the rooms , wake up with dried mouth and eyes id far than a relaxing wak eup expecially if the day is dedicated toward working in the nearby fair or theatre. The room window is facing the inside of the fair booth area, so if there are some workers you most probably wil wake up with the very powerfull lights and noises of the pavilion. The restaurant in far from an International Hotel requirements. Tipical Russian cuisine with a very nice presentation but average quality. Breakfast is cheap and common of the three stars Hotels of internatlal Russia, Avoid the scrambled eggs, lowon egs, rich of flour. Basically the price isn't worth it. The only reason to get there is the need of having a very close accomodation to the fair and avod been screwed from the Russian taxi drivers.

宿泊費のわりに、バスタブなしのシャワー設備の部屋で高値だと思いました。 お部屋は広くて新しくてとてもきれいです。

"Crocus City Hall Hotel"

6.0

I stayed in this hotel for 5 days. I picked this hotel because the bulk of my activities in Moscow were done in the Crocus City Hall. The hotel is part of the Crocus City Complex. It has its own mall, albeit it is very very expensive. There is also some cafeteria located in one of the Halls, you can choose between Texaco (which is like Mc Donalds) and also some Cafe. The hotel is far from the city, you can access the city by going to the Metro specifically located inside the complex. It will take you 10 minutes to walk to the Metro and that will bring you to the city. Estimated travel time is 45 minutes. The room is pretty big for Russian standards. There are two types of rooms, rooms that are facing the highway (which is more expensive) and the one where the view is the inside of the exhibition walls. The bathroom is nice, spacious and clean, you get your on bath tub and shower plus towels. Like I said, I stayed in this hotel for 5 days but the free water they give to guest is never replenished. Once you drink the two bottles given to you, that is it. Also I found out, being checked in multiple rooms, some of the room's cable tv has more channels than others. Specifically the 5th floor TV has at least 10 channels while the cable on the 6th floor has 4. Late check out is at 6pm but it is half the rate of a full day's stay. The hotel's breakfast is the same everyday. Sausages, Wieners, Oatmeal, Porridge, Fruits, Cereal, Coffee, Ham and Bacon. The menu never changes. To sum my experience in this hotel, I would say it was average. It is definitely a business hotel, the wifi in the lobby is slow but the LAN in the rooms are fast.

"Beware of Rooms on the Convention Hall Side"

2.0

As other reviews have said, this hotel is great because of proximity to the Expo halls. If you need to stay longer than 2 days, this is not your hotel. If you love having no A/C, hot rooms, sleeping on a 3 inch mattress, depression, music blasting from the expo hall into your room, lights from the expo hall shining into your room 24/7, cold showers, and crappy ikea furniture, than this is the place for you. While I was staying here some guy actually lost his mind because of the conditions and tore his room into pieces. There were little piles of what was once furniture laying in the hallway. The guy disappeared into the night and no one ever saw him again. RIP Hotel room destroyer guy. The best thing about this hotel is Sergey the server in the lobby. Sergey is the man!

"Perfect for Crocus Expo"

8.0

We booked in to the Aquarium due to its close proximity to Crocus City Hall, as we were going to the Miss Universe contest. You simply could not get any closer - you walk out of the hotel, into the hall - fabulous position. The rooms were basic but very new and clean, with toiletries in the shower and a complimentary bottle of water. Breakfast food was adequate - lovely coffee - and their cafe in the evening very competitively priced. Really impressed and if you need to be close to Crocus City - this is THE choice to make.

"Great Business Hotel"

8.0

I am staying at the Aquarium for business and the proximity to Moscow Crocus. Can't get any closer than this. Day 2 of 8 and all is going well. Not a good tourist Hotel due to the distance from the City Center and price. This is the closest hotel to Crocus and I am saving 75 Euro's per day on taxi's. The staff are friendly and I have had 2 nice dinners in the restaurant. The room is a good size and the rooms have wired interenet and the restaurant and bar have wi-fi. So far so good.

"Very poor value for money"

4.0

Paper thin walls. Shower didn`t work. Desk chair only, no sitting chair. A/C ineffective. No natural light. Might expect these things in a cheap hotel but not when paying their rates !. Only thing good was proximity to Crocus Centre.

"Excellent choise if you will attend exhibition"

8.0

Excellent choise if you will attend exhibition at Crocus expo centre, as it is located in the same building. Walls in rooms are paperthin....thats a disadvantage, but the rooms are very nice for being a 3 star hotel.
