Aquarium Hotel

If you will visit crocus city , you have to preference..!!

Plus points: The hotel is clean; The rooms are big enough; Right beside the Crocus Expo centre, which is useful for attending exhibitions or trade shows. Negative points: Bad value for money; No heating in the room - literally - no radiators or other source of heat; Window overlooked a conference hall that was constantly in darkness, so I had no idea if it was bright or dark outside; Walls are paper thin, so EVERYTHING can be heard from the room next door - the couple making love might as well have been in my room with me; The "restaurant" is a group of tables in the hotel lobby; Staff were no very polite; It is far away from the "sights" of Moscow; It is beside the Moscow ring road, which was constantly congested. Overall, don't bother with this place. There are lots of normal hotels in this price range in better locations. The pictures on the website are very selective, and don't really show what the hotel is really like.

The Aquarium Hotel is located in a large convention/exhibition center in NE Moscow. There is nothing around it except ugly highways. The window in my room overlooked a huge warehouse with nothing in it which was slightly unnerving and bizarre. The room itself was pretty good for the price, especially the bathroom (spacious, hairdryer, etc), free internet, but the overriding memory I have is the overwhelming stench of second-hand smoke. The rooms were "non-smoking" but the stairwells, hallways and main foyer including the restaurant were thick with cigarette smoke. Cigarette's were even on the menu. There was no where else to eat so you were stuck breathing in the foul air 24/7. Other than that, the service and cleanliness were fine.

Very nice hotel, i stayed there in june,had a river view standard room. Big rooms,nevertheles its 3 star hotel, even larger then 4 stars in center, beautiful view from the room, very big shopping center in 5 minutes walk. large amount quantity of restaurants near by, even with marine club. Definetely will come here again for exibition.

Everything was fine but the internet service was horrible. It only worked part of the time and the person in charge of it was clueless.
