Econo Lodge Phoenix North I-17

The place should be condemned. It is uninhabitable and a health hazard. I reported them to the local health department and this Econo Lodge will be shut down. It is the most disgusting, smellly and vile place I have ever seen.

What I liked was the hotel rep let me see the room first before I confirmed my stay. I Did not like what I saw.

The hotel room was not what you see on the hotel website, false advertisement. The reason is because the door looks like it has been broken into several times. The lock knob has been tempered with, the curtains had holes in it, the room smell strongly like weed and cigarette smokes, the mini refrigerator had dents and large scratches on it, the bed sheets mainly the cover had cigarette hole burns, the walls were not clean some fixtures look like they have been broken and were fixed temporarily, and their appliances are not up-to-date, and etc.. The environment outside was or did not look safe. Even though the property representative had me look at the wrong prior to my confirmed booking when I booked online already they end up still charging me for one night. Stay when I was supposed to stay there for the weekend. I canceled my reservation, hoping that the hotel would approve my waive the cancellation fee, but they did not. They still charged me for your room that look like that.

Dirty, urine smell everywhere around the property and in the room. Looks terrible, bed customer service, poor maintenance

Nothing It had no TV no towels no toilet paper

Thr fact it had no TV rooms not clean at all roaches everywhere

At checkin I was told my card key would not work. Security had to let me in and told me if I go out I’d have to get let in again. Bed sheets were stained. Graffiti on the bed post. Curtains torn and would not cover the window letting anyone peer into the room. Dirt on the seats. Bathroom dirty. Roach walking across the floor. It smelled like someone was living there. Felt unsafe.

I killed a huge ass cockroach scurrying along a baseboard in the first 2 minutes after walking in the door from checking in. there are holes in walls and ceiling, open light fixtures with exposed wires in the shower, mold everywhere in there, sink was clogged, baseboards coming off the walls. you could get so many more guests and charge more for rooms if you get a competent repair man with a team of no more than 3 men, that know what they are doing and how to do it right, and update all the rooms and clean up the property outside a little. I am a handywoman and business woman so I know what I am talking about.

Did not like anything. Dirty, one towel for two, TV did not work after trying very poor viewing. If you wanted a shit hole, this would be the place.

Everything. Not worth the value. Rather would pay more for better accommodations.

Just make sure you level-set your expectations accordingly. Remember the brand you got a room with and how much you paid. Certainly not the Ritz but far from a shelter.

The room had stains on the walls, the curtains were dirty, no toilet paper, no towels, there was a scissor placed on the fridge, the door frame to the bathroom was broken, homeless people were hanging outside, the staff working told us the owner will not give us a refund.

Holes in the walls. Tile broken & missing everywhere. Mold. Bugs crawling around. Front door filthy and broken. I took pictures.
