Econo Lodge Phoenix North I-17

This place should be avoided. It felt unsafe. The only saving grace was that everyone who I interacted with who worked at here during my 3-night stay was very nice and helpful. Otherwise a one-star rating would have been way too high. At all hours of the night there were people making noise and I am rather certain the dangers I felt here (and I am 6-1, 225 pounds) were due to drug trafficking or some other related activities. There was no garbage can in my room, I had to get my key reactivated twice, the shower in the room was damaged (although it worked) and thankfully I did not bring my wife. This place should upgrade, update, raise the rates and remove the riff raff from the premises.

Everything was dirty and disgusting and rooms were horrible..

I have never stayed at a worse establishment in my entire life; this seemed like something you’d see from Hollywood. There were abundant cockroaches, the non-smoking room reeked of smoke and the curtains had cigarette burns on them. There was gang graffiti on the headboard and no comforter…instead, just a blanket that was soiled and stained. The tv remote was missing as was the lock on the upper portion of the door. There was a large hole in the wall and multiple stains on the walls as well. The attendant said that they had neither spare rooms nor extra tv remotes. I slept in my clothes on top of the bed and turned the pillow cases inside out given how filthy the entire environment was. I strongly recommend that everyone avoid this property at all costs.

dont come here, if your a crack head youd love it here, DONT COME HERE IF YOUR A CLEAN AND SOBER PERSON.. based off the looks and smell when i arrived i had to change my room 2 times snd still wssnt satisfied, the rooms had EITHER A CRACKED DOOR OR NO DOOR..? do i do my #2 buiness to flow around the whole MOTEL? speaking of number 2 the pool looks like it was filled with sewer water ,frogs probably werre molding in the water vents.. its hot as hell and the pool isnt in clean condition? cant even use it.. back to the room why is there 9 gunshot bullets in the rooms CELLING? its almost like i walked into an investigation with no FBI.. the photos are catfish.. theres not one good thing i can say about this motel other than the fact that theres w door i can leave out of, and a gate to proudly drive off and not look back also there was a roach in here.. take the info how u wanna take it if theres one roach they will appeare with the rest of the army.. leave any food out in a blink of an eye itll be infested with whatever they got.. i seen a pest controll van parked up nicely outside.. something your hiding econo?????

It was very bad it smells like shit and the guests are mostly homeless

I didn’t even stay at the property they gave me a room with beers and a slept in bed that wouldn’t even open and it smelled like shit out side and it wasn’t very safe if you have a family don’t go near here

I booked this room last minute through Expedia because the room I booked 2 months prior over booked by 6 rooms and were sent away. We were scrabbling to find a place to stay the night now. We searched through Expedia and the site said there was a room available here at the econo lodge. We booked it and then drove thirty minutes to get there and upon checking in were then told there was no room available. I had already prepaid, yet was not given a room. The hotel refused to give me my money back even though they did not have a room for me to stay in. It took Expedia days to try and reach the hotel and they would not respond. In the end they refused to offer a refund to me ( I payed money for a service, they did not provide any and left me to scrabble after midnight to find yet another accommodation. Do not stay here at this property! Do not give them your money.
