Hyatt Vacation Club at Northstar Lodge, Lake Tahoe

The rooms were huge and even had a washer and dryer. When you check out make sure to remove your trash and take all the linen off of your bed or you will be charged.

We loved our stay at the Hyatt Northstar! The property feels tucked away from the “chaos” of Kings Beach, giving you a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, but it’s still close enough to everything that access isn’t a hassle. We were pleasantly surprised with a fantastic room upgrade—huge bonus points for that! The unit was spacious, well-appointed, and perfect for unwinding after a day out. That said, the only downside was the lighting: only certain parts of the unit had working lights, which was a bit frustrating at night. Despite that, the overall experience was great, and this is definitely a place that makes us want to return. If you’re looking for a more serene Tahoe experience without sacrificing convenience, this is the spot.

No nightlife, not in an area with much to do. Not a daily cleaning. We understood from the website description something closer to the lake.

This property is one of the nicest ones. I have stayed.It's really beautiful.The the villas are really big and spacious. Just amazing

The location is nice - close to grocery and restaurants. Some of the rooms could use some updates and some detailed cleaning. One of our sinks did not drain properly, a shower head needed replacement and some cobwebs in the corners of rooms. Otherwise beds were comfy, kitchen was nice and had the basics available.

We really enjoyed the Hyatt Vacation Club. They did try to get us to go listen to a sales pitch. Had to tell them no a couple times. But that was the only negative. I spent every morning eating breakfast and drinking coffee on our balcony. Absolutely amazing.

Very spacious. My daughter also left her AirPods in the room after we checked out and the housekeeping director, Dani, was extremely helpful in finding it for us and was with us until we did
