Hyatt Vacation Club at Northstar Lodge, Lake Tahoe

Didn’t like anything about this property, Limited dining options, inconsistent house keeping, extremely hot corridors, dirty parking garage, old smelly carpets, outdated in-room entertainment options, uncomfortable mattresses, no breakfast, impossibly loud neighbors, so on and on. A modern budget hotel is better.save your money.

This is a beautiful property and well taken care of. The staff is friendly and accommodating. A couple of issues: 1. Check-in was guaranteed at 4:00 p.m. local time, but our room wasn’t ready until 6:00 p.m. we were told we would get an email or text when it was ready, but got nothing and had to keep checking in. 2. We were there for a whole week and the room wasn’t cleaned once! They came in and made the bed, but didn’t even bother changing the sheets or the towels. 3. We were completely shocked at checkout that we were charged nearly $300 in resort fees that we weren’t told about.

Pool was dirty. There was an unflushed poop from previous renter.

Clean rooms! Kitchen clean, bathroom clean. Quiet place to relax.

This was exactly what I wanted. Absolutely amazing. Met all expectations. I was stunned at all the amenities available. I give the staff and the room five stars. This was definitely luxury and I wish I could’ve stayed longer. I plan to return when the snow comes.

The staff was nice and room was beautiful with spacious balconies! Very close to beach and shopping.

Quiet in summertime..next time we will ask for a room in the back to avoid pool noise however. Good restaurants in area (a few)- amazed that people left trash near the pool area- and wasn't picked up in the morning.

Very quite. Fairly central for seeing Lake Tahoe.

Love everything about the place. Staffs are nice and friendly. The unit was clean and perfect for us. We'll definitely be back again.
