The property is beautiful but we went during "shoulder season" so most everything was closed in the village. The hotel sent me a text to let me know most places would be closed before the deadline to cancel without penalty, so i was thankful for that. Heads up they will ask you to attend a timeshare presentation but it is optional.

My daughter fell ill the night before with a really bad flu. Though this location highlights its family friendly accommodations and amenities it refused to reimburse me or even offer me a credit in this situation. Would have been my first time for me and my family at Northstar. Was hoping that this trip could have started a tradition of family stays for me and my children, but looks like that is not going to happen. They have lost a likely repeat customer for good with their inflexibility and failure to understand the challenges of kids during a long flu season.

Gave it a poor rating because the people next to us yelled & screamed for hours. They finally stopped after 1:00 am. We called around 11:00pm but received no help from staff.
