Hyatt Vacation Club at Northstar Lodge, Lake Tahoe

We did a family, early visit. It was so beautiful. Staff was amazing, nice and the town was amazing and festive. Only thing that was slightly disappointing was the village. The stores closed early, and the bars were also closed except 2. As adults we looked forward to an evening on the town after a long day of boarding, jus for everything to close down at early hours for a Friday and Saturday. As far as the hotel. It was epic. And very nice, comfortable.

The rooms are nice, but connected to other rooms via door. You can hear everything from the adjacent room. Most amenities were not open.

Amazing time away from home

Out of season time if year we were there but convenient, safe, and clean. Only stayed 1 night, would definitely want to stay for longer to enjoy more amenities.

Good place to stay

Love coming to Northstar! The facility is beautiful! The rooms are great. The communication is easy too. Of course we come during off season, so the downside is a lot of the shops and restaurants can be closed. Some of the pool areas were also closed. Truckee is so close though you have options there. Plus this hotels has activities that you can sign up for some are free and some you pay. I liked the theater option! The scenery around is just beautiful!

Everything was awesome

I was a little annoyed check out was as early as 10 am. We were there during an extremely slow season too and when we asked for a later check out they gave us 30 mins.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at! Everything is so beautiful and cozy! Feels like you’re in a cabin and each room has its own fireplace. Very quiet in October but it’s what we needed!!
