I did not like the quality of the pizza in Ciello restaurant. I think the place deserves better menu and especially pizza

Breakfast was excellent and overflowing; Beach was clean and pool was superior. I had an accident going to Station 2 at the uneven brick sidewalks of Balabag Wetland Park that caused me to tripped and hit my head hard, bruised my face, knee and right side of my body. I experienced throbbing headaches. I was given medical assistance by Shangri-la and made arrangements for me to have CT scan in far away 2 hour drive to the Asian Hospital in Kalibo and back to the hotel at 3AM, Jan 12, 2026 and I am grateful for the kind of service Shangri-la had accorded me. Thank you so much.

It would have been better if the 3 rooms I booked for the 7 of us were located near each other.

My wife and I LOVED our stay at Shangri-La Boracay. We stayed in room 646 with an amazing view of the ocean. Staff were amazing. The hotel is well secluded with its own private beach. Spectacular! It’s a short ride into the main part of town where we had dinner some nights. The room was luxurious, large and clean. Bathroom was big with a double sink and incredible shower.

The bathroom needs more light. Needs to be brighter.

Very good beaches, sea, location, professional staff, clean, good pillows and duvet, yoga lesson with Romanian teacher Daniela was a blast!

The hotel is old and tired, mandatory to be refurbished . Very big and unfortunately you can feel the crowd everywhere! People do reserve the sun lounges )by placing towels and leave) at both beaches and also at the pool, so do not be lazy in the morning if you want a place to stay! The breakfast restaurant is indoor only some few tables outdoor and when such many guests at the same hours in the same place (until 10.30 only) the feeling is very bad. They try to compensate with the very organized staff, but the bad feeling still remains.

A really terrible experience. We paid a very high premium to book a room with a “sea view”. But Shangri La gave us a room with a Garden view and a very obstructed view of the sea. At checkin the staff were first arguing aggressively that Shangri La room details on Expedia had specified that it was a partial sea view. But we showed in our confirmed Expedia booking that there was no such caveat of “partial view” in our booking or in how Expedia is currently marketing “sea views” in current Expedia bookings. After a 2-hour shouting match with check in staff when we shows all the evidence, the staff apologized that the room offered was not a sea view. But the General Manager Hans refused to acknowledge this core mispresentation although - paradoxically- he agreed to “improve how rooms are marketed and communicated”. A disgraceful display of total lack of ethics and integrity. The resort is beautiful but this horrific experience marred our precious vacation. We take strong exception with this flagrant ethical violation and misrepresentation.

Красивая территория, всё очень хорошо организованно, номера чистые опрятные, может быть совсем немного «уставшие», но в целом хорошие

Претензии к отелю следующие: 1) вечером бывает скучновато, есть бары и рестораны на территории, иногда живая музыка, но если захочется «дать огня», здесь не получится. Очень спокойный тихий отдых 2) самая главная претензия к отелю и вообще ко всему острову - неоправданно дорого всё. Не сочетаются цена и качество услуг или товара, которые ты потребляешь. Я за цену отеля (примерно 800$ в сутки) ждал невероятный люкс, а получил просто хороший отель, который везде стоит 300$ в сутки.
