サービススタッフのクオリティが世界各国のリゾートホテルの中でも随一だと思います。他国でこのホスピタリティを受けようとすると10倍ほどの金額になると思います。とくにコンシェルジュサービス、ルームサービスのスタッフは、客を喜ばせる仕事にやりがいを持っているように感じました。キッズフレンドリーな施設とサービススタッフも、わたしたち家族に素晴らしい時間をつくってくれました。旅において、現地でどんな人と関わるかは、重要な要素です。大切な旅を心満たすものにしたいのであれば、このホテルへの滞在をおすすめします。

強いて言うならば、ホテル内のレストランのキッズ向けメニューが、わたしたちの子どもの口に合わなかったことでしょうか。ランチやディナーにも、甘すぎないやわらかいパン、ただのスチームドライズ、味付けは塩だけのチキン、ただグリルしただけの野菜など、シンプルな調理のものがあればありがたかったです。しかし、それを忘れてしまうほど朝食のバイキングは素晴らしいもので、子どもが食べられる食材の選択肢も多かったです。

Lo Shangri-la trasmette esclusività già dal proprio arrivo sull’isola, si viene accolti dal personale che vi porta nella hall privata sul molo per condurvi al resort. La struttura è grandissima e stupenda, con la sua spiaggia privata e quella condivisa con un resort accanto che risulta comunque totalmente privata. Le coccole sono in tutte le attenzioni che il personale, super gentile e disponibile, ha per i propri clienti, da piccoli regali per occasioni particolari trovati in camera all’asciugamano e acqua freschi per combattere il caldo. Le camere sono bellissime e molto grandi e vengono pulite due volte al giorno. Nel resort sono presenti 4 ristoranti, noi ne abbiamo provati solo 2, il Vintana e il Cielo, entrambi eccezionali e con prezzi nella norma (provate la pizza perché è davvero buonissima!). Lo spazio del Vintana accoglie anche la colazione, immensa e capace di accontentare tutti i gusti. È inoltre presente una gelateria molto buona. Non avremmo potuto essere più felici di così nel scegliere lo shangri la per la nostra luna di miele.

Il bar in piscina e le strutture ricreative chiudevano tra le 22 e le 23, sarebbe stato piacevole un orario più esteso.

When you travel to Shangri-La Boracay, you truly get what you pay for—and more. The experience feels premium from the moment you land. As soon as you arrive at the airport, the Shangri-La team greets you and immediately reassures you that your luggage will go straight to your room. You don’t have to deal with the usual chain of bag handlers—from airport to van, van to boat, boat to another van, and finally to the hotel. Aside from the constant tipping, it’s also stressful not knowing where your bags are at every step. Even when transfers are prepaid, some handlers make you feel obligated. Shangri-La eliminates all of that. The speedboat ride is direct to the resort—exclusive, uncrowded, and comfortable. You feel safe, relaxed, and can actually enjoy the short boat ride instead of enduring it. Upon arrival, you’re welcomed warmly and escorted to a lounge area where drinks and light treats are served while check-in is completed. No lining up at a counter—the staff comes to you. You’re then brought to your room via golf cart, and impressively, your luggage arrives before you do. The room itself is generously sized—more than spacious for two guests—and immediately sets the tone for a relaxing stay. We booked dinner at Sirena Restaurant & Clifftop Bar. Our golf cart pickup was delayed, and I worried we might lose our reservation. Fortunately, the restaurant wasn’t crowded and we were seated without issue. From there, everything was exceptional. You’re assigned a personal waiter who attends to you throughout the evening. The cliffside views are stunning—you can see both the beach and the sea—and the staff even knows the best angles for photos. Sirena is a seafood restaurant with an excellent selection. The octopus and oysters stood out for me. What truly impressed us was the attention to detail: without us mentioning anything, they offered complimentary dessert because they were aware our buggy had arrived late. That level of coordination—everyone being on the same page about guest comfort—is rare and deeply appreciated. The breakfast buffet the next morning was equally impressive. Many Boracay resorts offer similar buffet spreads, but this felt more like dining at a high-end hotel in Manila—refined, extensive, and well curated. This resort is ideal if your goal is to relax. It’s not the place for nonstop water sports or island-hopping adventures. Instead, it invites you to slow down—read a book on the beach, enjoy a drink under your umbrella, and let the service come to you. A waiter will gladly take your order right at your lounger. The sand here is slightly coarser than the powdery sand of Station 1, but it’s also a great spot for shell-hunting. My wife and I found several beautiful shells during our walks along the shore. If you find yourself craving familiar favorites from D’Mall Boracay, the resort offers a private van service that will take you there and back with ease. We also had dinner at Rima Treetop Dining, and the experience was spectacular. We were seated near the edge, where the sunset views were breathtaking. The food was very good, the drinks were decent, and once again, the service was impeccable. Dining here feels almost like a performance—polished, attentive, and seamless. After four days, my wife and I left feeling completely spoiled. It was a peaceful, worry-free, and deeply enjoyable vacation. In my opinion, Shangri-La Boracay remains the best resort on the island—truly in a league of its own. I will definitely return. Perhaps for a special milestone—my 50th birthday in 2026 sounds like the perfect reason
