We have now stayed at the Shangri-La Boracay twice, and we know with certainty we will be back. While more expensive than everywhere else in Boracay, every aspect of our stay is worth the price. The moment we stepped out of the airport we were greeted by smiling Shangri-La staff who ensured the transfer from Malay to Boracay is quick and efficient. We travel with our three kids (ages 9, 7, and 5) and at every point staff are friendly and welcoming with them. The resort is beautiful and well-maintained. During our first visit we stayed in a villa with a private pool and on this most recent stay we were in a family suite - both were clean, spacious, and stocked with fresh fruit, treats, and refreshments. The amenities are fantastic, and we never had any issues finding chairs either at the beaches or the pool. Food at all the restaurants is fantastic - the breakfast buffet especially is a favorite of my kids'! The ONLY wish I have (and it's small) is that one evening we had dinner in the Entertainment Zone while watching a movie with the kids and we were disappointed that we could not pay for our meal with our Circle points like you can at every other location on the property, despite it being the same exact menu and likely cooked in the same kitchens as Cielo (the pool/beachside restaurant). This seems like an easy adjustment management could make to serve guests. Otherwise, we have no complaints and we can't wait to see everyone (especially our room butlers, Robert and Michael!) again soon.

This place is immaculate. We stayed in the one of the ‘Loft’ houses with the private pool… great romantic sunsets (see photos) with wonderful staff. Filipinos do luxury superbly. Money well spent

Everything but food can be improved

The band wasn’t there for 4 days. I was told they were on their day off 😔 there should be a replacement while the other was off.

The fact that people are rating this place any less than 5 stars is outrageous! This is by FAR the BEST hotel in Boracay. HANDS DOWN. The only hotel that has its own transfer dock so that you don’t have to join the crowd from other hotels. It’s 5 star treatment from landing to departure. EVERY staff is friendly and accommodating. You get exactly what you paid for, and that’s first class treatment. The entire resort is a dream and we ONLY stay in Shangri- La, nowhere else. It’s Shangri-La or bust for us! Thank you Shangri-La for always taking care of us! We can’t wait to be back

This is a beautiful hotel we stayed in a sea view suite with the most amazing views of sunsets. The suite was beautiful and had a lovely balcony with a day bed and jacuzzi. It had a bar which was refreshed daily. The hotel is spotless and the staff are excellent. We stayed B&B and as you would expect the breakfast was amazing with so much choice. The pool area is really beautiful and it has its own private beach which is also excellent for watching the sunsets. The food and drinks at the hotel were excellent and reasonably priced. The pick up and transfer from the airport to the hotel was flawless both on arrival and departure. The hotel also provide lifts down to town which was very handy. We would really recommend a stay in this lovely hotel.

A large resort but with a big welcome and friendly staff. We had a villa and pool on the hills , which was perfect,roomy and spotless with beautiful views. Three restaurants but we preferred the one at the top , the views were stunning ,food really good and charming service. Breakfast can be a bit of a scrum but we always found a quiet place to sit outside . Choices are exceptional ,and it’s difficult to know what to choose. Overall a very good place to start our three 3 weeks in the Philippines, plenty of R and R

Shared with some other hotels lagoon is perfect. Best breakfasts ever
