Maui Banyan - Maui Condo & Home

Suite was somewhat cluttered yet in order and contained many things essential. It was comfortable and clean, but not sanitary and shining. It had a washer and dryer, but no safe - Room service such as check out expectations together with cleaning schedule was blurry, Our 2 bdrm suite was across from a parking garage, so commotion and vehicle lights were existent through the night and into early morning as crowds come and go, especially driving to watch sunrise. If you require assistance, no one is there to assist, front desk is on hand for Aston Resort guests only. Instead of renting a car, we used Turtle Trax to get around Kihei, our teenage girls really enjoyed as they could come and go on their own. The hot tub (very small, popular and over crowded) and pool area together with many BBQ's in the area were appreciated - If you're early it's a lovely addition and amenity.

Unfortunately, we did not get what we requested (a light, bright condo with a pleasant outside area). I believe there are such condos available in this complex. It appears that you cannot count on having your requests met. It is important to me to know what accommodation I will be receiving previous to arriving. I would definitely "not" recommend the Maui Banyan. Maui Condos and Homes definitely did not meet our expectations.

Your advertisement should show which ACTUAL condo is being rented. When we were finally confirmed details of the condo (3 days before arrival), we were told it was a ground floor unit. Again, when we spend this kind of money, it would be nice to know exactly what the unit looks like at the time of booking.

Room was older and worn. Had stuff for the beach to hang out though. Right across the street from the beach. Good location. Nice pool with bar b q`s.

Great location, well maintained. Our condo was G410, the layout was great but outdated and the chest of drawers were so full of useless linens we had no place for clothes, the pantry had no room for food and one of the ceiling fans did not work unless you held the wire just the right way. We would still stay again but might try for a different condo.

I have stayed at the Maui banyan several times and would come back over and over again .

Nice condo near the beach. Had everything one needed to feel like they were home. Only cons is having one air conditioner the bedroom often felt warm. Also didn't like that the lanai could be accessed from anyone walking down the sidewalk as we were on thre first floor.

When we checked in we were greeted with a great staff that told us about things to do in the island, i.e. Secret beach, restaurants, sightseeing. The rooms were clean and came with all the amenities. The beach is within walking distance, and you can also shop eat along the beach so no need to drive al over. We will be staying here again.

Condo was well stocked in the kitchen ( incidentals also) and a closet full of beach items including chairs, body boards, towels, snorkels, masks, fins and 2 beach chairs. The condo was right out from 2nd pool that was never crowded and wonderful. Short walk to the beach. King size bed in master bedroom was hard so we bought a foam pad for it and were much more comfortable. Queen size bedroom has no air conditioner and is right off living room so plan on no privacy since you need to leave the sliding doors open to get any cool air at all. Twin size beds in 3rd area were comfortable and a good size room with private bath. Well stocked condo in kitchen and beach closet ! Décor was ok and nothing special but functional for our 2 adults and 3 teenage children. We would rent it again.
